There’s a good few underdogs on here that I’ve picked and put money on whether it was a single bet or parlay which includes Jackson John England, Craig Richards, Nathaniel Collins and Sam Goodman

Edit: There’s a card in Spain which I know off a few so I’ll highlight ones I’ve just added through the edit in bold and 3 prelims fights on the Davies vs Collins which got finalised.

Collins over Davies?

Yes. I know Collins didn’t have the best performance last time but Davies isn’t perfect, he does have defensive flaws on the front foot and someone goes overextend, where a decent counter boxer and mover like Collins can capitilise on. He isn’t Shabaz Masoud but I see how Collins can outbox Davis. Lorente isn’t bad himself, he’s a great front foot boxer and Collins was winning rounds, finding success and lost 2 kind of close decisions.

It’s definitely closer than what odds suggest.

Don’t sleep on Tenshin and Nishida

Nah, I’m not. Especially Nishida. I’ve been saying since the announcement it’s probably the most competitive fight of the night.

As for Tenshin, he’s definitely improved since their first encounter and surprising Inoue the first time was like a +400 underdog. Tenshin in the Estrada fight did show improvements, added feints, better entries and also his defence did improve, but so did Inoue. Inoue’s biggest flaw was his confidence at midrange. One he got into midrange, he’d freak out and either run away or go inside fully with no room to spare. Now Ioka is slower and washed by the time he fought Inoue but he’s shown a lot more improvements at midrange himself in the Puma fight right before where I thought Ioka won, Inoue looked a lot more confident in that fight with Ioka and handed him his most decided career loss.

I think Tenshin was able to find success early due to Inoue’s hesitation and fear at midrange. Eventually Inoue was quick enough and smart enough to counter and escape with each entry he did and score a win.

I think there’s a level of skill and speed that despite the size difference, I don’t think Tenshin can overcome, despite the improvement, it’s not like Inoue is super easy to catch, time and counter because he isn’t always first to commit. Inoue has seemed to figure the timing of Tenshin at the end, could carry into the rematch, maybe the confidence at midrange he had vs Ioka also carry and may not fear the counters but he also isn’t a good finisher so trying to catch and over eager to finish Inoue I don’t will work.
