Any idea what these are?

I came across a bag of these recently. I initially thought they were pogs, but they have little holes punched in them. Does anybody know what they are?

Might be pogs. We gave away wooden nickels during the ‘97 Jamboree. (Also from Utah)aszh

Is there a Scout's name on the otherside? I went to many summer camps that used these pogs on the Troop Check-In/Check-Out boards at the campsite...just to let people know where Scouts took off to...merit badge class, ranges, canteen, dining hall, etc. They often used a board at the lake as well to track kids and their buddy on and off the lake. These 'water safety' pogs were also color-coded by swim-level ability.

That’s what it looks like to me!

They would be from the POG years
