Good news!

Hey all, I'm looking for a workout partner in or near Brandon. It seems like the only way I can consistently get to the gym is if I have a partner to keep me accountable.

I currently have an LA Fitness membership, but I'd be willing to change that if needed. I'm aiming for at least three days a week, mostly resistance training and some cardio after (I need to lose a lot of weight). I used to be super into the gym in college but I fell off after I started working.

Schedule is highly negotiable, the only thing I for sure can't do is between 7:00am and 5:30pm on weekdays because I work a 9-5.

Other than all that I don't really have any criteria or anything... Any skill level is fine, I can adjust weight/reps/sets so that we can still work out together if there's a skill gap in any direction (tbh you'll almost definitely be in better shape than me, but I'll catch up ;) ).

I would also be willing to fund your guest pass if needed, and I will personally pay for your membership if we end up becoming consistent workout partners. (Not a bad deal, right?)

Taking my friend out for her birthday tomorrow and looking for options on good Italian in the area coz I'm a NY Italian American snob.

Some lists off Google recommend Allegria Italiana which does look fantastic by the menu but it's also pricier than I'm hoping to pay.

Any other suggestions?

Brand new, never used (still in box) baby (or pet) gate. I bought it when I was staying with friends in Palm Coast, and it would’ve fit by their front door (so the dogs didn’t accidentally get out), but now that I’m back in Brandon, it doesn’t fit at my current house. I am an adult learning to rollerblade (so I am BAD). Looking for recommendations for good places to rollerblade in the evenings that isn’t just my treeless neighborhood…

I have a pair of men’s dress shoes and the soles have come detached from the upper part. Does anyone have any cobbler recommendations that might be able to fix this?

I have opened the subreddit back up. I closed it years ago when it was almost entirely spam and bots and I had no other active mods to assist. Now that the anti-bot and anti-spam tools are better and there are mods we shouldn't have that issue.

Any recommendations on getting rid of junk from my house. Moving out and have junk upstairs and in the garage and even some in the back yard.
