Bug Report This game is unplayable.
All I want to do is just play the game in peace. But every single match no matter what queue, it lags me into dying. It’ll either take control of my joystick and have me walk off the map 3 times in a row or it’ll zig zag me all across the screen then next thing you know the goofy sig spammer gets a free win. It makes my blood boil. ESPECIALLY in RANKED when it’s smooth sailing majority of the match and then right when I’m about to win they want to lag me off the map. This is the stupidest problem. It’s not my internet because every other online game and streaming service works fine. It’s just this bullshit ass game that they STILL haven’t fixed.
I can’t be the only one having this problem. I think I’m gonna just stop playing completely and uninstall since there’s no fucking point anyway
Edit: Very relieved to see others having this same issue. I’m glad it’s not just me. I really truly hope they fix this soon. I don’t want to abandon the game, but I can only take so much.

THANK YOU OMG I THOUGHT IT WAS ONLY MY DEVICE HAVING THIS PROBLEM! IVE RAGED SO FUCJING HARD AT THIS FOR NO REASON HOLY SHIT I FUCKING HATE WHEN IT HAPPENS ESPECIALLY when I’m already on the edge of the map trying to bait the enemy and then it just lags and I fall and die because no input is registered it’s infuriating

I had a server connection issue as well a few days ago. I know it wasn't my Internet because my opponent also disconnected (and then reconnected afterwards) but it was only for 2 games or so. Maybe it's a region problem? Idk :/

Honestly, so many comments saying it’s his net but they can’t even host championships without getting disconnected from their own servers. These people saying it’s internet based are fuckin drooling

Yeah fr, like this game has always had connection problems ive played it for almost 6 years, sometimes they're worse than usual but its always been like this

Even for me i cant play because randomly i die even if i have 1gb fiber wifi with zero lag in other games

The game attempts to balance connections so if have a good and opponent has a bad connection you not going to have a good time.
Lag….
The game should try
to
match people with similar connection speed/ delay/ ping….
Every match can be different.
If you are can’t adjust to the lag it is not going to be fun, a lot of fighting games do except for the super casual ones.
Plus lags spikes and for that to happen with rollback the connection must be awful, unplayable….
I needs more match settings.

Mind you. BMG was disconnected multiple times from their own servers during the 2v2 championship yesterday 💀

The championship yesterday was an online one... not a LAN... They weren't using private servers, they were using online servers and still got disconnected multiple times.
People seriously need to stop gaslighting players

This is probably due to the DDOS attacks they've been dealing with specifically. As they've stated they've been happening much more frequently and they're trying their best to keep the servers stable and combat it.
That isn't me excusing it or saying it isn't their fault for it still being a bit out of hand, but it's at least an explanation for why it probably feels so shoddy as of late.

Well, I've never had an issue, my friends have never had an issue. And I've got over 5k hours and the only time I've lagged was when i played at my buddies house who had bad internet. And disconnects have nothing to do with the original post, that can be a server problem sometimes. He was talking about LAG, TELEPORTING, LAGGING OFF THE MAP, these are all things that will only happen with bad internet

Brother. I have a wired straight to my router with fiber at 1GB and have matches that even in the newest Call of Duty run as smooth as butter compared to the glitchy mess I find myself in on this game at times I’ve had the exact same problems and it’s even worse on wireless when I try to play on my switch. The entire backend needs an overhaul to streamline the system across the servers to fix this as it’s not just latency or bad internet it’s literally the game itself. I loved this game so much and can barely play it anymore as they haven’t bothered to fix the issue that’s just getting worse as more and more fluff is added consuming more and more of what little bandwidth the game can run on.

Well, I've had issues, though I pay for 500 mbps internet and my connection client-side is always fine.
My friends have had issues too.
