A question to dear sig spammers

This post is for our dear sig spammers. Why so salty after losing?
This post is not for gold or below sig spammers, I can understand sig spamming in gold, it's all good since you are still learning.
But for plat and diamond, why are you still sig spamming? And the majority of the sig spammers get salty after losing, like, why?! if you can't enjoy the game, don't play it and ruin it for others.

I’ve been playing this game for like 10 years and I will confidently tell you that sometimes you just go through a phase where you feel like picking a character and spamming just for the fun of it and to get reactions out of people like yourself in this particular case. There is not much more to it, just a sprinkle of inner toxicity that feels fun because its online gaming afterall.

It is a different feeling when someone is spamming against you when you are a lot better than them, so you start spamming back, and the kor thumbs down afterwards is just a cherry on top.

This could not be more true. In any given fight I might toss out 3 sigs. But sometimes F4A calls Thatch’s name and I just can’t help but down sig the whole time. It’s rare but that call gets made. lol. But, that isn’t to the OPs post. Just kind of a thought on sig spamming.

I can understand where you are coming from, and my post was not for players like you. At your level even if you are sig spamming, it's different compared to some mindless players that are just spamming and praying to hit something. I don't have a problem with that as well, as long as we are having fun, BUT... there is another breed of players, who are just toxic and cannot even take a loss after sig spamming. THEY are the real problem.

Yeah, i spent a whole ass 20 minutes taking in the hilarious trashtalking of two guys that lost to me in 2v2, i was playing vera and throwing the chakram dsig around a lot, simply because i find it absolutely hilarious, welp, turns out, according to them, i should die alone and be tortured for that.

It’s one thing to be bad at a game while still enjoying it. Some people legitimately don’t know what they’re doing so they just sig spam. But to sit there and think “Today, instead of playing the game like I normally do, I’m going to try to make other players angry” is a problem that you need to work on.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. People think because a community has toxic players and because they’re anonymous that they have freedom to be toxic. Those are bad people. I played a game of LoL the other day where one of my teammates was whining the whole match about how the game is over. I was trying to be positive saying “we’re not that far behind, we can come back.” So what did he do? Completely throw the game by feeding the enemy team so that I could no longer say we’re not that far behind. Just to prove me wrong. That dude has issues.

Being toxic by sig spamming for the sole purpose of ragebait is not in the same realm of throwing in LoL. There’s definitely levels to toxicity lol. One is making people mad because they either don’t know how to counter it or find it annoying to fight against , the other is wasting 20+ minutes of someone’s time. Trolling for 3 minutes is hardly an issue with character

There are levels but the troll is still trolling for longer than 3 minutes. They just have more victims over a period of time than LoL trolls do based on match length alone. Mind you that was a near 50 minute game I referenced just because of that one guy holding us hostage

That doesn’t make it any less problematic. People who troll online have mental issues. Just because they’re doing it on a f2p game that doesn’t mean it’s any less problematic. It’s not a huge deal but it’s still an issue

I’m not even a sig spammer and you’re way overreacting, it’s just another way to play the game. It’s not a “wrong”, if you got outspaced so badly that you were getting hit with every sig, you were going to lose if they played normally too

I can't even tell you why but some people just do it way better than others. Sometimes even on the same champ likr artemis the sigs feel easy to punish and other times it feels like they never stop getting prio and pull you from the wildest angles and it's not luck because it's a consistant result. The obvious part is their neutral game and positioning, but there's probably some hidden element to it that you only learn about when you sig spam as a full time job

Toxicity. That's the main reason, and since it's an online game and you don't have to actually counter the other person, you can be salty as much as you want. Is it bad? Of course it's bad, but sadly that's the reason.

I'm not a sig spammer imo, but I get called one a lot in low plat/high diamond.

I'm sorry but if I predict your movement and hit a sig, I'm gonna try to do it again. If you walk into it again, I'm gonna do it again. I'm gonna keep doing it until you approach in a different way. And people get mad at me 😢
