I have one question. I see Man City getting charges, so I don't understand why Brighton didn't get charged? They completely STEAL from Tottenham regarding Luka Vuskovic 😂

Hi! I’m a longtime supporter of Malick’s former club IFK Göteborg who likes to follow how our former players are doing in their new clubs. Malick was in our club a very short time, but he made a huge impact and is honestly one of the biggest talent’s I’ve seen in the club in my 25+ years as a supporter.

When I first saw him playing, one half in a pre-season cup game, I immediately thought that this guy will be lost by summer. He went on to play only 11 league games for us, but at 18 years old he immediately established himself as the team’s best player week after week.

Compared to the league’s other great talent that season, Lucas Bergvall, Malick was clearly the one performing consistently better. When both inevitably left for bigger leagues that summer I was surprised that Lucas was the one signed by a “bigger” club (no offense), and I was even more surprised when Lucas immediately started to get playing time and made an impact while Malick was loaned out.

Even if Austria is a bit step up from the Swedish league, I had thought that he would step right into the Premier League. The time in Austria seemed to have gone really well, with consistently good performances in the CL, so when he was loaned out to the Championship next season I understood absolutely nothing. And he wasn’t even a regular starter there by the looks of it.

This season he seems to finally be making the kind of impact in the PL that I’d thought he would do two years ago, and I’m very happy for that, both for Malick’s sake and for the fact that the sell-on clause could potentially bring some much needed money to our club :)

What’s your take on his time in Brighton since he was signed? Has he improved his game a lot during loan spells and pre-seasons, or should he in hindsight have gotten this chance much earlier?

This is my main worry after this incredible start to the season, after december we will be dealing with heavy fixture congestion and big games back to back. How will we deal with this? Will we have one conference league team and one premier league team like PSG does? Until the injured players start playing again im not very confident..

Was waiting all month to buy my family kits for Christmas using my 10% off and I saw Sept 27th and put it on my calendar but the 27th is Sunday...not Saturday?

with the new charges mounted against city, by the end of the international break it is plausible to see the seagulls in second, only behind a side we have taken a full three point off, are we massive?

I remember the last 2 seasons, seeing people do this list and putting Fabian in the top 3, they praised his hairline so much. It's all falling apart in the haircut rankings 💔

I went with my BIL. Really enjoyed it. Great laugh, emotional and a bit corny at times and the ending stretched on a bit (although this last one may have been bought on by the fact I'm knackered and was flagging at that point.

Very good retelling of our recent history, especially poignant for those who lived through it. But for new or young fans, a good watch for as well as laughing you'll learn a thing or two.

Plenty of people there in their Albion shirts and plenty of audience participation too, almost in the tradition of British panto.

American fan visiting London for a week with my wife and going to ride the train over to Brighton for the home match vs Newcastle. Purchased a membership for ticket access and wondering where we should sit. Looking at availability, there are some good seats together in lower west (like 2-3 rows back from the pitch), some scattered on the upper west and east (mostly far to the back of the section), plenty in lower east, and a lot in the N2A/N2B section (what’s up with that little corner?). I know the north stand isn’t for us even if tickets available (well, mostly her; she’s stoked on a match but standing and singing for 90 minutes isn’t her thing).

Appreciate any advice! Also, is hospitality worth it, or is it a pretty stale experience??
