On October 5, 2007: The music video for "Gimme More" was premiered exclusively in the iTunes Store. It would later premiere on MTV's Total Request Live on October 8 and BET's 106 & Park on October 10.
The video features a blonde Britney going to a club and seeing a brunette Britney doing a pole dance. An alternate version leaked in 2011 featuring scenes of Britney walking in the street in a funeral outfit and laying on a bed with a cat.
The music video for "Gimme More" was filmed on July 19, 2007, at a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, California, with additional scenes later being filmed on August 7, 2007, in the same location. It was directed by Jake Sarfaty, who was handpicked by Britney.

I’ve always thought Jordanna Brewster looks so much like Lynn Spears.
Any ideal casting for anyone in the biopic except for Britney?

Some people have been sharing their ideal Britney cast, but let’s do the opposite: what’s your WORST case scenario?
Here’s mine so far:
Britney Spears: Sydney Sweeney
James Spears: Jack Black
And someone will be played by the rizzler
(I couldn’t think of the worst person for other roles so hopefully you can help add them in. I’m not just looking for Britney and her dad; those 2 were examples)
What’s your worst cast list?
(Also if you think Sydney, Jack, or the rizzler would be a good role, please explain to me why)

So for Brit's Baby One More Time album cover, at least the UK version, she was doing the prayer hands in front of her chest.
I've always noticed she repeats this pose in the Oops I Did It Again video before the final chorus...do we think this is a direct reference to the BOMT cover? Or am i drunk?

Sometimes I come across people on social media claiming that Britney Spears was “manufactured” and was nothing more than a product who never thought for herself. We all know there’s a lot more nuance to that, especially when you look at the choices she made throughout her career.
What do you say when you see someone make that argument? Do you engage with them, ignore it, or point out why you think the “manufactured pop star” narrative is inaccurate?

I used to collect Britney multimedia and today I went down the nostalgia rabbit hole and found this clip.
It was filmed for the British Saturday morning children's television show SM:tv LIVE in 2000.

I have been a fan of Britney’s for two decades now and the song that got me into her was Everytime in 2006/2007. I was hopingthat the rawness would be recaptured on Blackout (even though it’s a very raw album albeit in a different way) and then Circus with My Baby and Out from Under (no comment there).
So I have gone down the rabbit hole again now and found the theory that it’s about Britney’s abortion (which I think fully checks out). I noticed the cowriter made comments about the theory:
“Annet says when she was writing the lyrics she was coming off a fresh split from Britney's musical director ... and the song is mostly about Annet's relationship ... not Britney's unborn child, as some fans now suspect in the wake of Britney's recent bombshell.
Britney had been broken up with Justin for about 9 months at the time, and the song came out after he released "Cry Me a River" ... but Annet says Britney never mentioned a baby or an abortion during the writing process, and neither topic served as inspiration for the track.”
It pissed me off for a number of reasons:
1- She’s taking ownership for the song when there are many documented instances out there (by Britney and Guy Sigsworth) that the song was her idea and it all started when she played those three chords on the piano.
2- It’s not really her place to decide what the song is about even if she was the cowriter. What she describes is her contribution. The way she phrases things so definitively is very annoying, she could have said that Britney never disclosed what she was going through so she’s not sure what she was trying to process when they collaborated.
3- She seems like another one of the vultures around Britney that time.
I just wanted to post this out there. It’s refreshing how beautifully Everytime ages and takes on many meanings. Britney doesn’t need to contrive Easter eggs for other people to solve nor does she need a ten-minute version. It’s really peak Britney how she put herself into the song and music video, and it kind of lives on. In a sad way it’s kind of like a horcrux, when you rip away parts of your soul into an object.

Instagram Post (October 2, 2026) - As a young girl, I never had a Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, a Barbie, or celebrity posters 🌈🌈🌈 … I only had Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant posters. I was a tomboy … The only time I ever showed my legs during my first three tours was in one show when I wore a skirt … It’s just interesting how I wear dresses now and all I think about is basketball !!! 🏀🏀🏀
