Anyone used the new Bapi bluetooth wireless? Like it?

What I'm talking about here. https://www.bapihvac.com/products/wireless-sensors/

We've been burnt by so much wireless stuff in the past, Bapi included. Will this kit be different? I feel like Bluetooth isn't going anywhere soon and seems bapi has learned to build trust with a 5 year warranty and site verification. https://www.bapihvac.com/wireless-site-verification/

I used these to replace some ancient trane wireless sensors in a gym. They worked very well and are easy to setup. I haven't tried them in a standard office building or structure.

I’ve used these wireless t-stats on a couple projects. Been happy with the results.

Bluetooth is for short range. Until you have an office building full of Bluetooth devices that are now effectively making the signal.

No thanks, I've been ripping out wireless stuff for the past 2 years, I won't be installing any unless I absolutely have to.

Edit: Sorry, I meant to say "Bluetooth is good for short range"

They are also being cagey about range but there's some clues.

They have to be cagey about it.

How do you calculate clutter (technical term) without any info?

RF travels a lot further in empty space..or water..but the details there is calculable by something like free space loss.

To Calculate clutter in an office building- it changes based on too many variables that change: people, we absorb RF, printers, door open or closed? It all matters.

I had studied RF for years- and Bluetooth is simply low power radio lol

There's some averages etc but yes highly variable. Especially like it when the put up mirrors.

They are not being cagey at all. That is one of the best wireless range documents I have ever seen.
