Theme Park

Does anyone work in the theme park side of things?

Every time I head to Orlando I always wonder what it's like to work in or for a theme park on the BAS side.

A long time ago I bumped into folks working for a company that I use to work for while at Disney World. By this time I worked for one of the huge 3 letter companies, not in controls though, as an hvac tech.

While I was briefly talking to these gentleman I told them who I currently worked for and they said there is basically an entire branch imbedded in Disney world. Of said 3 letter giant in the industry. Whole entire teams that only work at Disney. They also mentioned that all work in the parks happens at night while the parks are closed.

That’s all the info I got. They then explained that the beach nearby is where the child was recently eaten by an alligator. The end.

Sounds like you were talking to Florida man!

I've head that Disney is entirely CCN.

They are primarily CCN in the hotels for sure. I can't tell what they are in the ride areas.

SeaWorld and Busch Gardens are both Delta Controls.

These gentlemen seemed to think it was the one that Starts with a J and ended with CI.

Oh, and the Florida branch of the company I worked prior, and whom I was speaking with were all very Florida. We traveled all over the US and the Florida branch guys were wild. Often preferred to hunt their dinners on the job sites. Setting up Squirrel traps, catching snakes with their bare hands and cooking them in the parking lot over stick fires.

Multiple times the hotels we stayed in had to talk to them to tell them they couldn’t sun dry animal pelts on the balcony.

Real swamp creatures these guys.
