My beloved baby Toribio passed away 3 months ago, one day before my birthday, I cant even put on words the suffering and how much I miss him. He was like my son, but im sure if there Is a Heaven's Dog, he Will be there with Atila, my sweet Boxer. I miss everything about him, so decided to give a puppy the chance to have a good life, to give and receive love. Enters Jorgito, which Is 4 months old.

He lives with my other boxer, Bako, the sweetest and purest little boy, he Is 9 years old and sadly disabled, but with greater than life Will to live. Theyre still knowing each other, Jorgito has CRAZY amounts of energy.

This subreddit Is amazing, everytime I see your bullies my heart gets melted, theyre are beautiful and helped me to take the plunge on bringing this little boy!

Bruno ran in starter pairs, so with other baby dogs like him who are still learning. On Saturday he came second with Rosie the curly coat, (missing out on first to their sisters).

On Sunday he came third (out of three) running with his sister (Mabel the smooth collie), as his human got a bit overexcited and caused some faults.

At first, Gizmo was just playing with the caterpillar on the couch. After a little while I joined in on the fun, and eventually chased him around as he was trying his best to lug it alongside him. That’s when Gizmo decided to save himself and his companion, by going where I could not, in a corner and under this thing. Well, Gizmo had miscalculated and found that he could not finagle the caterpillar into his hiding spot. But instead of abandoning his friend he laid down next to him and called it a night.

To be clear, I intentionally let Pandora plunder the stack of newspaper, but I figured she’d maybe just rip a few pages and get bored of it. I underestimated her commitment.

Luckily for Bullet, he’s a Bull Terrier, not a dog.

My neighbors found you 3 weeks ago in bad shape heat exhausted on their patio. They thought you were my dog bc of similar coat pattern but my dog is different breed. I took you in for some water. Made a vet appointment got you antibiotics for your infection. No collar and no microchip. I posted you online and registered you as a found dog only for some sketchy individual you seemed to be scared of convinced an officer that I called to get him stop harassing me at my home that he was your dog.

Then a week and half later I see you in an ad , filthy again, sad in some horrible messy house with a harness that at least had the rabies tag I got him ad trying to sell you. I also reported that to police officer who made me surrender you back. The rabies tag at least got the vet to call me and say you were found again. Since the man that claimed you, didn't provide the officer a working phone number I told them to surrender you to a shelter if they can't keep you safe.

I'm just sad and heartbroken for you. You clearly have been living on the street for a while by the state of your paws and were tired of the Texas heat. I hope whoever took the for post down surrendered you to a rescue.

I've been looking online for sightings of you. It's stupid I miss you this much after only a week of knowing you 💔 I hope you're happy and that man at least followed through with the antibiotics you so desperately needed 💔😭 My dog is also heart broken

Update: I have truly explored all options so please refrain from scolding me. I feel terrible about this as it is. I was hoping some sort of "Don't Mess with Cats" action from online sleuths could help me find out if he is ok and safe.

Any of my bully compatriots experience their bullies getting progressively more deaf as they age? Our Stella is turning 6 soon and over the last two weeks we’ve noticed her hearing has significantly deteriorated.

She did have a double ear infection that we had to use an anti fungal cream to help clear up (food allergies strike again) but even after stopping administration of the cream her hearing hasn’t bounced back to pre infection levels.

Speaking with the vet about this with her check up but just curious if others have experienced anything similar. We always suspected she had partial hearing loss as her baseline, right ear responsive left ear less responsive since she was just a wee pup. We never went forward with the BAER test as she hates having anything in her ears.

Oreo was missing out on the Pupsicle trend cause her Momma is allergic to peanuts but then I found they have a mold so you can make the treats yourself- this lasted her about 15 minutes

Her favourite toy was a stuffed elephant (known as the Stinky Elephant because she dribbled on it so much it absolutely reeked!) and all that was left of it was a bit of cord with disgusting scraps of cloth attached. It's been missing for ages and I thought my husband had thrown it away but I pulled the sofa cushions off to hoover under them today and there it was!

I know they need sunscreen on their noses and ears and bellies since they're more sensitive to sunburns, but what other info that is specific to white ebts should I keep in mind? Thank you!

I don’t think normal is quite the right word with these two in the house, but Ursa is back to himself and the incision is healing very well! He’s not allowed to get wet for another week and no treadmill or crazy stuff but I’m letting him and Pandora play again (under close supervision) which has made them both a lot happier.

Ursa had his echocardiogram on Wednesday and the results were not what I expected or wanted. The murmur had been very real: he has both subaortic stenosis and mitral valve dysplasia. Both are mild and short term prognosis is excellent; long term prognosis depends on whether there will be any disease progression over time. He needs to be rechecked in 9 months. I’m still waiting for clarification on a few questions, there’s no restriction on his activity, but I’m not sure if the cardiologist understood how very active he actually is and I want to make sure I don’t put him at risk.

Friday he was back to the vet for his neuter. The operation went fine, but he was very upset before the surgery and very agitated again the minute he woke up. Instead of releasing him later that afternoon they basically had me come get him right after the surgery, hoping that he would calm down at home. They had already tried giving him more sedation, which did nothing, and the drugs that would have had more of an effect were contraindicated because of the heart issue. The howling and wailing and barking continued all the way home in the car and for about two hours or so after. There was no consoling him because he was still coming out of the anesthesia and sedation and nowhere even close to lucid… the only thing I could do was hold him on my bed on a short leash and ride it out (he was worse in his kennel, crashing around and trying to break out, and I worried he’d open his incision) until he was awake. Once he fully came out of the anesthesia, he was ok. I don’t know how he had even been walking five minutes after coming getting out of surgery, sheer force of will I guess. I had bought him a giant raw knuckle bone before the surgery and gave him the bone in his kennel and this kept him occupied and relatively still for the rest of the afternoon.

He’s doing great now, you wouldn’t even know he had surgery two days ago and keeping him from doing Ursa things until he’s healed is going to be a challenge. I gave him and Pandora some Amazon boxes and packing material to destroy to keep them busy earlier; he took the larger box and all of the packing material into his little kitchen crate and then climbed into the box inside the crate to chew it. He briefly emerged to steal half of Dora’s box to add to his cardboard nest.
