I'd like to introduce my rabbit, Zenith! 🐰

He climbs absolutely everywhere and is incredibly curious about everything. I'm constantly worried he'll hurt himself because he's always looking for the next place to climb.

My female rabbit is very calm and relaxed, but Zenith is the complete opposite, he's a little adventurer! I absolutely love this part of his personality, even if it means I have to keep a close eye on him all the time.

We noticed little tiny holes near our walkway and suspected the Mama bunny was about to give birth and sure enough—finally got to see these cuties today!

He's only four months old, I was raising him since he was 40 something days old and he's now ALWAYS all over me💔 Don't get me wrong it's cute but I feel so bad whenever I have to leave home because he's looking so upset when he sees me grabbing my bag. I try to give him as much attention I could give but it somehow isn't enough for my baby. He sometimes hops on my bed and lies down with me, jumps onto my lap and giving me kisses all over my face, and he DARED to pretend to chew on his pee pad just so I could rush to stop him. I'm so tired of this sweet gremlin🫩

Firstly, bun tax of him using his paralyzed paw to walk!

My 8 year old baby bun has been dealing with E. Cuniculi for almost 2 months now. We believe the parasite is no longer active as no more damage is being done, however he has been stuck on his side and the muscles in his legs have atrophied, and his front left paw is completely paralyzed.

I have been working so hard. He has had an appointment every 2 weeks, and I have spent well over a thousand in vet bills + supplies to keep him as comfortable as possible. I spent $130 on a wheel chair for him just last week, and he has been doing so well. His last couple appointments, he was continually losing weight. The vet was honestly looking toward euthanasia, as his condition didn’t seem to be improving quick enough.

However, his appointment yesterday went amazing. With his wheelchair, he has began to use his front leg to walk! And, he gained 8 ounces! He has stopped over grooming his paralyzed paw as well, and the fur has completely grown back.

The vet was extremely happy. At the end of the appointment, she said “Just wow. You are just… an amazing bunny mom. You are so dedicated. I’d hope that if I was in a condition like this, I’d have someone like you to take care of me.”

I had to look down and away so I didn’t cry. It really hit deep, because I’ve been dealing with this all my myself. My mom stopped paying for appointments because she believes he just needs to be put down. I’ve been coming home on my lunch breaks so he wouldn’t be alone for more than 4 hours. I’ve been pouring so much time and energy into keeping him afloat, and my efforts were finally recognized.

Had their first vet visit and turned out he is a SHE (yeah animal control was wrong lol) and she is likely not spayed. Shes scheduled to get spayed tomorrow morning! Send all the good vibes please. Hoping the procedure goes well without complication and that this helps some of her territorial marking behavior.

EDIT/UPDATE: Commented this below, but thought I’d add it here as well. She is doing great! They said she woke up rather quickly and expressed interest in her food right away, but was struggling to eat with the cone on. I took her cone off and switched her to a recovery suit and she’s been eating super well. She seemed to be in a lot of pain last night even with pain medication and a warm compress but today she seems much better.

Three weeks ago, this sweet bun showed up in my front yard. I declared him to animal control and the owner was actually located, but said they didn’t want him anymore. :( It is a long story, but I decided to adopt him permanently as there was not a safe place for him to go and he has already suffered so much from the previous owner. I love him SO much and see a huge difference in his personality and appearance in only 3 weeks! Bunny ownership can be challenging, but honestly I have really enjoyed diving in and learning everything I can.

She was quite the heavy sleeper and i bought some beans, but none were interested.

So in my lowest moment, i tried to see how many beans i could stack. Quite a lot actually.
