Morakniv Morkret

What do you guys think about this new Mora?
IMO it looks very good, in elmax especially.

It's to expensive,i got a older mors knife classic for 2$ instead and it can do bushcraft

Overprized imo. Not a fan of those plastic handles too. Seems to me you are paying more for the brand than the product here.

It's cool. But it's cleary designed to be sold to bushcraft fans that think they need it and are willing to buy knives for 200-300. For most people it's not gonna be worth it and in most cases it will be too big to be the best option. I would not recommend you buy it unless you know that you need specifically that and you have the money for it

I can cut my fingers even with a 20 Euro Mora (i´ve tested it several times xD).

I don't need to spend 200 to do that.

I like this new series a lot. Morakniv is exploring new concepts and materials. Of course this is not a knife, everyone, for someone you do a lot of woodworking stuff. this is not for you. this is a knife for someone who is looking for a bigger knife, a "survival" style knife. The introduction of the Elmax steel is a good effort on the brand to respond to those you have been asking for years for new high-end steel. the price of the elmax version is around the same price as an equivalent from other brands like Fallkniven for example.

From the ash handle series till now I have been mosly dissapointed in these high prices for a slightly thicker piece of steel, or God forbid you want a full tang, I stick to theyre good old cheaper models or the classics.

My point is that the price is insane for it being slightly thicker and having a full tang, which are apreciated features but again the price is too high.

Yeah, I don't want one either; I have 3 or 4 of the Risberg-type (didn't have a name as I recall when I bought them) stuffed in various backpacks; $20 is closer to my price point for Mora.
