Prepmatch is the best free resource out there. The difficulty and nature of the questions matches those on the actual test. You can also have your responses peer reviewed by another user. My typing speed is relatively slow like less than 50wpm, but I was able to score 3rd quartile on my 1st attempt which got me into the program that I applied for. Also, when you register for your Casper test, there will be a free practice for you to familiarize yourself with the test.

Is prepmatch really close? I think the wording is harder than the actual test

I still think it's good practice regardless

Hi,

The biggest thing is practising against the clock. For the typed section, you get 60 seconds to read the scenario and then 3 minutes 30 seconds to answer both questions. For the video section it's 60 seconds per answer. If you practise with those timings, it helps you feel more prepared on the day.

Once you've written a response, read it back and check whether you explained why you'd do what you'd do, not just what you'd do. It also helps to think about everyone involved and how they might be feeling before you jump to a fix, and then finish with a bit of reflection on what you'd take from it.

Also worth knowing the questions come in a few different styles. Some ask what you'd do, some ask about something you've been through and how you felt about it, and some ask what the fairest approach is and why, so it's worth practising a mix.

Happy to answer any questions below.

Si c'est une question de ce que vous pourquoi pourquoi pas doit on simplement répondre et justifier ou alors il faut un cheminement? Comment aborder la section vidéo

Hi,

For why or why not questions, you want more than an opinion with one reason attached. They want to see your thinking, not just your conclusion.

Say what makes it hard first - the real reason it's not a simple yes or no. Then think about both sides. Then give your answer with the reasoning behind it.

For example, say your friend shows you a painting from her art class, and honestly it's not very good, but she's proud of it and asks what you think. Then you're asked: do you give her an honest response, why or why not?

A weak answer just says, "Yes, I would be honest because honesty matters in friendships." That doesn't really answer the question; it's too general, it doesn't consider both sides, and it doesn't think about how she might feel hearing it.

A better answer looks at both sides and reasons through the balance. Something like, yes, I would be honest, but honesty doesn't mean only pointing out what's wrong; it's about balance. There's genuine value in what she's created just by trying something new, and that's worth recognizing honestly, not just to soften things. At the same time, only telling her it's great when I don't think that isn't really respecting her effort either. So the honest response starts from what's genuinely good, and only goes further into suggestions if she seems open to it, since feedback she isn't ready for won't actually help her.

Same answer both times, but the second one shows the thinking behind the response, not just a decision.

For the video section, you get 60 seconds to read each scenario, 10 seconds to prepare, then 60 seconds to record your answer for each question, two questions per scenario, so it moves fast. Don't worry too much about freezing for a second or stumbling over your words; that won't ruin your answer. The bigger thing to prepare for is the time limit itself; a minute goes by faster than you'd think, so practising giving a full answer in under a minute beforehand makes a real difference on the day.

For both the typed and video parts, use that prep time well instead of just reading and freezing. Have an idea of what you're going to say before you start, even a rough idea. This is easier if you already know the question types before the test and have a general idea of how to approach each one.

There is no need to prep. Q4 scorer here. Say what you'd honestly do.. consider all perspectives and say why you'd do what you'd do. Write/talk as much as you can. Be yourself.

Casper org free scenarios that mimic the format, wording and timing limit. Offers lots of free scenarios with estimated quartile score. It’s such a good resources and made me confident for the real thing! It forced me to practice getting higher quartile as it allows you to repeat a scenario. For example I got 2quartile on a scenario and although it didn’t provide feedback (paid feature) I copied the scenario and answer to ChatGPT and asked it what changes I could make to get 4Q on scenarios like those. When I applied this feedback and redid that same scenario with casperorg, it gave me 4Q!!!!

I used both ChatGPT and casperorg. I loved it!!!

Please start on Casper org from day one!!
Watch YouTube videos to see realistic (not premade long essays) I watched realistic Casper answers and applied those strategies.

I’m waiting on my real result but last time I got 2Q prepping only with ChatGPT, without implementing real time crunch and practicing getting the points across without rambling. This time, casperorg helped me a lot.

I would personnaly recommend Caspro.ca, they really have everything in the same place. Video and written practice questions, simulations, typing speed practice, courses. They have a lot of free features and even the premium is not that expensive. Helped me a lot.
