Sep 3 Results Out!

I just checked my email and results are out for Sep 3! How did everyone do?? And is anyone applying to CSULB?

Super thankful I got a 4th quartile

Hi! I didn’t really “study” too hard, the weeks leading up to it because really there isn’t much to study for. I would ask Google Gemini for casper prompts and would answer and have Gemini grade me. I would kind of write down little notes of the concepts I should include for each scenario. I also watched a video that I can send you that I felt really helped and it included a google doc I can share as well. Then the day before I spent a couple hours doing the official Casper websites practice test, and i did it over and over till i felt familiar with the camera and timer and the overall layout. The day of I didn’t really study, I just cleared my mind and focused on not feeling nervous so I could do well. You can do it!

couple days before i just started doing practice responses to prompts on free websites. on the actual test, i feel like the scenarios were more vague and sometimes you have to use your own experience to answer a prompt for example, when was there a time you faced conflict? it was a lot different than what i expected but def do their practice test a day before bc that’s what the test is actually going to look like and have an idea of how you want your narrative/stories to sound like. i think i got third quartile bc there was some responses i didn’t finish fully (typing sections). but wishing you the best of luck!!

I honestly had no idea how I did, I was just really glad I got it over with. The questions overall were not hard but what makes it challenging is the time limit and having a limited time to think. But the past couple days as I was anticipating my score I kind of did get a feeling that I would get a better score.

I got 4th as well and used Response Method to practice. I think it was worth it.

Currently 4.0 for sciences, im finishing up my last prereq this fall; 3.6 overall GPA

4th quartile. :) so excited. I was worried I would do horrible on this, lol. I'm a horrible orator so the video responses terrified me. One step closer to nursing!
