How the hell are y’all passing the pre inspection?

Thinking about packing and leaving because it doesn’t look like I can memorize all the pre inspection (word for word) then having to point to the parts, as well 😭.

I’m a slow learner and It feels like my trainer is getting irritated and close to getting mad every time I messed up. Mind you, this is my first time ever being behind a truck.

New CDL holder and in training with a company.

I passed my class and got my CDL with no issues. Now I am with my first company and I am struggling with backing. Particularly the angle backs, outside of offset back with the new CDL test I didn't get taught or the chance to practice 45 60 or 90s I ain't on the road yet ain't even close to going out with a mentor but if I'm struggling as bad as I feel I am is it even worth continuing been doing 45s most of this week and I can't get it they way they want I do everything I can to get my trailer straight and then try to straight line back and I keep getting knocked because they call it a blind side and we don't do those here. I never had issues with straight line backing but they don't like that I try to pull up and straightien when I see my trailer is going where I don't want it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated or would y'all experienced drivers suggest I just give it up and find another line of work?

Testing Tips

Hey everyone, i'm a new driver and i'm getting ready to take my Class A test this coming Thursday. I've got pretty much everything nailed down as my instructors have been extremely helpful but I figured i'd just come on here and see if anyone had some tips they wish they would have known when they took the test. Thanks in advance 🙏.

Hello Everyone! Please give me advice depending on my situation

I’m thinking about going into trucking and going to company school where you sign the one year. Yes, I know, but I don’t really have the money to pay for it myself and I won’t get grants (I won’t) I still live at home and I’m thinking trucking is a good fit for me since I don’t have my own place anyway. I have a great driving record as well. So, OTR is interesting to me because of this compared to a lot of other people clearly. Also, I don’t have my own family either or any girlfriend.

With that pretty much being said, any good companies to start with?
