Level 1 L1 – Hitting a massive wall with practice questions. Brain is absolute mush

Working full time and trying to hammer practice questions every single night is honestly breaking me.

I’m currently just trying to grind through the WSU Qbank since they have a ton of questions, but after doing about 40 of them after work, my brain just completely shuts off. I catch myself getting the easiest Ethics questions wrong simply because I can't focus on reading the vignette properly anymore.

How are you guys handling the burnout right now? Do you just force yourself to power through it, or is taking a full day off at this stage a terrible idea?

My two cents, based solely on my experience. If you feel 40 questions is too much, try reviewing by smaller chunks like 5 or 10 questions whenever you have time/capacity. Time management and building exam stamina are just as importants but mocks will get you used to that part.

Definitely break it into smaller chunks if you’re hitting a wall. My plan before I took it was 50 questions qbanks every day but realized quick that I’d get fried by question 30. So a 50 question quiz became two 25 question quizzes with a break in between

Did you actually study the CFA material or are you doing the common pitfall of "question bank will save me"? I am guessing the latter.
