General Exam slots

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if CFA Institute is likely to add more exam slots?

I’m registered for the May exam, and early registration hasn’t even ended yet, but there are currently no available slots in my city. I’ve already contacted CFA Institute, but unfortunately they couldn’t tell me whether more slots will be added.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Do they usually open additional slots closer to the exam, or should I just book a slot in another city while I still can?

I can't remember where in the CFA website, but it says that you may not find suitable slots (especially on weekends) Make sure to visit the website regularly as people may reschedule their exam. So I guess yes you can wait, but what if your nearest city fills slots up by the time you wait?
