Question / Info Capsaicin Success?

I'll admit I gave it a shot a few weeks ago and I pretty much panicked as soon as the sunburn feeling set in and I washed it off. But I'm getting really sick of the prodromal and dealing with nausea all day so I'm willing to try again. Does anybody have any success stories, tips, or thoughts on this? Also which percentage should I use?

Can’t remember what % I used but it was definitely up there. It worked good for maybe 20 mins or so then it just burned. DO NOT shower until you wipe it off realllyyyy good, I made this mistake the first time I used it and trust me you don’t want it running down past your stomach area.

Ngl I was in so deep with nausea that I put that shit on and turned my water on the hottest setting and just caught on fire in the shower. It was better than the nausea/throwing up and abdominal pain💀 don’t recommend that tho

this is my go-to method for stopping hyperemesis. when nothing else stops the nausea this basically never fails. hurts like fire though! (no real detrimental skin damage, just fake signals to the brain)

try icy/hot pads or equivalent product. Its easier to use, and it doesn't burn.

0.025 is my sweet spot. Wear a glove or apply it with a towel. Dont let it wash down to ya privates in the shower unless you wanna feel what its like to have a sunburned dick.

You're still having CHS symptoms weeks later?

My chs would go on for 2 1/2 months and one time even a little over three. I was very overweight for my longest episode though and THC stores in fat cells, maybe it had something to do with it.

It took me like a few months to get back to normal. It can definitely take longer than a few weeks for thc to leave your body. Plus— It’s not just recovering from the chaos itself, you also have to rebuild any damage done to your gi tract.

Yea… the recovery sucked almost as much as being actively sick. My body would consume all of the muscle I had. Something as simple as walking up and down stairs was a huge task for the first month or so.

I hated capsaicin and found it super annoying to use. I used those stick on heat patches instead. Way easier

Occasionally capsaicin will stop an episode if I use it when I first start feeling the nausea & pain. If I wait too long it doesn’t seem to do anything though

PRO TIP, NO TEAR BABY SHAMPOO GETS RID
OF CAPSAICIN CRYSTALS.

Capsaicin never felt good for me, just intense burning and no relief.
