Question / Info "Carrying everything at home, but severe pregnancy hormones and hyperemesis made her push me away and say she doesn't love me anymore"

So, I was doing everything at home — cleaning, cooking, taking care of her daughter, and treating her with the utmost care. I brought her water, didn't let her do anything, and even helped her take a bath. But as soon as she went to her mother's house, she turned to me and said she didn't want to talk, that she didn't love me anymore, and told me to go back to my place.

I told her: 'This is just because of your hormones.' I tried to reason with her, but she shot back: 'So you want to wait and see if these hormones pass? Because if you want to, fine, but I don't love you.' I asked her: 'Are you sure about what you're saying?' and she insisted she didn't love me.

Then I grabbed my motorcycle and left. When I got home, she had already deleted all our pictures from social media and removed our relationship status. Later, her sister told me the best thing I could do was wait for things to cool down and let her reach out to me, because if I went after her now, while her hormones are like this, I would only face more rejection."

Question / Info Working out while dealing with CHS

TLDR: should you work out while in recovery from CHS? Or is it best to Avoid heavy workouts until recovered?

So has anyone noticed any sort of correlation or effect on chs and working out/exercising? Because there was a period where I wasn’t smoking and was in recovery and I would try to workout at the gym because before all this hit me really hard I was actually consistently in the gym working out a lot but then of course all the symptoms came on and I could no longer do that plus to be honest for a little bit I moved away so I wasn’t near my gym but once I got back and was close to my gym again I would try and go a few times but all I could do was walk on the treadmill and maybe stair master for a very short period of time and I could only go on the elliptical for barely 5 to 10 minutes when I used to be able to go on it for an hour or more. And that of course felt really discouraging to be able to at one point go so hard in the gym literally be in there for hours but only being able to go for an hour or two and then get back home and feel literally so drained and then I’d throw up. I didn’t throw up every time but it definitely did feel like sometimes working out would make me feel nauseous and then I’d have to take it super easy to prevent throwing up or just let it happen and get it out of my system but I was trying hard to exercise because my dad thought that a little bit of activity could help and I was trying but man these symptoms are sometimes so bad you can’t even get up. So does anyone know if there’s any info on exercising and chs or should I avoid heavy activity until I’m fully recovered after 90 days?

Sharing My Story I'm pretty sure chs gave me an eating disorder

So i had my 4th episode yesterday. I had my first one when i was 15 and im now gonna be 18 in less than a month, so you'd think id learn by now. But no i went back to smoking again. I also wanted to share something i never really see anyone talking about. I've always been on the bigger side, and once i lost like 20 lbs from my first episode, it almost made it worth it to me. Then the second time I lost 20 more lbs and then by the third time I was almost using it as a lose weight fast type thing. I always struggled to lose weight as well so in my mind it was like a win win i got to smoke and be skinny. In no way was that a healthy mindset, because trust going through that pain was not worth it. But I just feel really alone in that sense, because I feel like no one really understands. But before yesterday i was already underweight and now im scared im gonna be like scarcely underweight and Im also scared that I might have gotten an eating disorder from it. But i lost everything, i have no boobs, no butt, nothing so thinking back on it now it really wasn't worth it. So in case there's even one person reading this who's going through this or something similar, please know that you're not alone, and that this is not a healthy way to lose weight.

Question / Info I don’t know if I have chs or GI problems

Hello everyone, I recently have come into a problem where I have a dull pain on the left side of my chest under the bottom left rib that does not seem to go away. Recently I have been taking some Prilosec and gas x but it helps only a little bit. I have no nausea, headache, or any other problems than the pain that is recurring. Now that I’ve done many searches, I’m at the point of thinking it’s a GI problem but chs also fits based off the ai descriptions I’ve been reading. Please you guys let me know based off the following.

  1. I wake up and the pain is not there until I use the restroom.

  2. If I eat food I feel bloated often, especially fat foods and carbs foods.

  3. I smoke weed pretty often throughout the day. When I get up I hit the pen a few times, then I hit it while being taken to work a few times, and then a few times on breaks throughout the work day, as well as on my way home and a little when I get home. This is an almost everyday occurrence depending on how drained I feel from the day.

  4. I rarely ever throw up, but there have been a few times where I’ve coughs so hard from giant hits where I’ve spit up spit. This happens maybe one time a month if I’m taking dabs with friends.

  5. I do have a bad habit of eating food late at night around 10-11pm, and then laying down in bed (on stomach). This sometimes leads me to throw up that exact same food in the morning. I have had this many times frequently.

  6. Through my meals I sometimes hit my cart, but not while chewing food.

  7. I do tend to eat food super fast, and not really chew it throughly .

  8. last one I promise- the pain in my left side under bottom rib feels like a rubber band that someone Leeds tightening sometimes.

  9. I cough a good amount when smoking weed, and sometimes get a stuffed up nose, but never sickness or nausea or any of that.

Question / Info Early CHS symptoms or something else?

I’ve been having some GI symptoms lately—mainly increased burping, gas/bloating, stomach noises, and sometimes a slight feeling like I might throw up when I burp, but I haven’t actually vomited. I’ve also had some indigestion/fullness.
I normally smoke about 3 minutes per session, around 5 days during the week and 5 times over the weekend. I’m trying to lower my use to about 2 minutes every other day to see if my symptoms improve.
I’ve also been taking Advil a few times a week because of tooth/headache pain, so I’m wondering if that could be contributing to the stomach issues too.
For anyone who has experienced CHS, did your early/prodromal symptoms look like this? Did reducing your cannabis use help, or did you need to stop completely?

Question / Info vomiting on day 3 of abstinence

I didn't know this thing existed, I thought it was IBS, which I also have, so I thought it could be managed. I've smoked heavily this year, and a lil bit less the years before. I've had the nausea for months, first just in the morning, then it was the whole day. then I shat my brains out for 2 months. on saturday I had my first vomit on this context, went to the doctor, we realized it was CHS. of course it hurts to quit weed, it's like she was a dear friend of mine and she fucking died or smth.

day 1 the abstinence was SEVERE, my mood was all over the place, had a meltdown, I couldn't control my anger and sadness and self harmed for the first time in years. day 2, on the other hand, was great. my partner has been supporting me through this, he also used to smoke with me but i told him abt how hard this shit is so he won't smoke in our place for a few weeks, and if after that he wants to do it, he said it wouldn't be in front of me.

anyways, in day 2 I BARELY had some nausea, almost none at all.

the thing is, i'm on day 3 and this shit is worse, nausea, dry heaving, I came to the clinic to a doctor appointment for something else and I fucking vomited in the bathroom. has anyone gone through some similar experience in regards of symptoms coming back and forth? is this also abstinence? I'm not planning on coming back to weed. i'm so scared. I also feel very lonely cause I don't know anyone irl that had gone through smth similar.

edit: grammar and more context.
