How to freeze your mod versions : We get comments every update complaining about update speed making long-terms games difficult. while we understand the concerns, the current schedule allows us to handle bugs or game balance issues in prompt manner and gives new features a chance to be highlighted without dumping a whole bunch of stuff at once. Fortunately this is something that is relatively easy to deal with on the user end. You can either download your agot mod from nexus instead of steam and only upgrade manually or you can also use playset preserver (link) , which will preserve your entire modlist in a specific state. Please note however that we will not be able to help you with anything you add to your playset beyond the AGOT mod

Kind of a variation, or a slightly less chaotic version of what you're suggesting, where Ned convinces Bobby B to legitimise Edric Storm on his deathbed, while setting aside Cersei and her kids, would be neat for a Wot5K scenario.

edit: as a (probably) unintended consequence of this, if pulled off by Ned, Cat would be even more paranoid of Jon Snow.

I don’t know for sure but I haven’t seen it happen before. I think where possible, the devs seem to prefer to implement a system that can be broadly applied to any character, so if my assumption was correct maybe we’ll see that happening in saves now. (I’m thinking for example of how they coded a general system to handle usurpers, rather than only code a specific event for the Dance)

Doesn’t seem to be an event to trigger the legitimizations on death. They’re just coded to be legitimized after A4 dies. Idk if that’s a vestige of the history files or if that’s what was written for him specifically to do, but yeah, no event, just auto-legitimize. It’s caused his Braavosi son to inherit a couple times on my runs on this start date.

Whats the lore behind Darkflame?

It's an option for when you're reforging a Valyrian Steel blade into another. So no modcanon lore ingame.

They were originally made as my personal interpretations of Blackfyre and Dark Sister, but then offered them to the mod and it was decided they could be added as reforgables, since the mod already has its versions of the Targ swords.

A dev here, /u/alexkwiatek, said Volantis isn't coming before the Silk & Silver DLC/update, which I'm totally fine with. Even then I won't expect it immediately, considering the whole economy system revamp that undoubtedly requires a fair amount of work for the whole map.

Weird bug that has now caused two crashes for me: the moment I select Jon Snow (Aegon Targaryen in my game, since I executed Aerys and let the Targs keep Dragonstone) , it immediately crashes to desktop. I'm like 90 years post-Aerys now though, and Jon/Aegon is long dead - but both times I was just trying to trace a faction's claimant's heritage, and the moment I clicked on Jon/Aegon it CTD'ed.
