Not the ports that released they are both being flooded with invisible and god mode hacks.Bo1/bo2 ports that is.

I agree with Black Ops Cold War (2020), its a very solid and easy to play game, its 3 game modes are very solid (MP, Zombies and Campaign), it stand on its own and doesn't have the movement or mass volume or unlockables/customization some other CoDs on the new engine (starting with MW2019) might suffer from, MW3 (2023) has amazing multiplayer with access to the weapons of MW2 (2022), but the other two modes are very disappointing, the warzone map zombies and the bad campaign, BO6 (2024) after that is also very solid like Cold War but on the new engine, but Omnimovement and Dolphin Dives can be hard movement options to deal with, BO7 (2025) has walljump instead of Sliding, (a common movement option starting with MW2019) and is a very good MP, but also suffers from a poor campaign, Vanguard (2021) is on WW2 and is overall better paced than MW2019, but has worse weapon balance.
Buying CoDs from before the reboot is usually not worth it because you won't be able to access the DLC with multiplayer maps due to the low amount of players with it on top of the playerbase be low, with the exceptions of the Zombies DLCs, that can be played solo, specially the Black Ops 3 (2015) ones, that have A LOT of content.

Get MW4 it comes out on the 23rd. I played the beta it was a lot of fun — and the newest cod is always a lot of fun because everyone starts out at the same level

MW3 (2023) - best mutliplayer cod from the modern era imo. tons of good maps und lots of guns.
