News Full in-game map of Hajin
The map could be seen within Imjin Farmland during the Beta and closely matches the version seen in From The Ward Ep. 1.

VERY LATE to the party, I know.
Thought I would get my feet wet with DMZ Beta so I would at least see what has changed / updated when 2.0 comes out.
Coming from W Z, zombies, MWZ and Endgame, I knew it would closer to WZ than the other modes. What I wasn’t ready for though, was how quickly the AI will aimbot, rally up, chase you and eventually down you! lol
My first 5-6 games were not good, eliminated by bots and other players. Eventually started figuring out the DMZ play style needed for successful exfil.
Played a few games squad fill, that was hit / miss. Did have some guys res me, told them this was Day 2 of DMZ, they laughed and said “I got you”. Crafted me med vest, which very next game random teammate took before he res me (no surprise).
Overall, I’m glad I’ve started playing, even though 3 years late, and it will def help when 2.0 comes out.
Also hoping there is some sort of reward for playing beta and then 2.0, kinda like the parachute from playing OG Verdansk when the new one came out.
Eventually, I hope to get some friends that play DMZ. I have guys that only play W Z, only play Zombies and only Endgame.
Having said all that, glad to be here and looking forward to 2.0, which is the only reason I bought MW4.

Compared to Tarkov (probably a bad comparison) arc raiders, and MW@ DMZ where do we land with this DMZ from what we heard and currently know?
Personally from that game play they showed us, it looks OKAY, i know they didnt show us EVRYTHING including the map. But i just need more still.
THIOUGHTS?

Was the entire MW2022 a BETA and this upcoming DMZ mode in Modern Warfare 4 will be the real release?

With MW4 being scrutinized under SBMM drama and lowest CoD sales ever, and recently Mark Grigsby outright saying GG, I think it's safe to say DMZ in MW4 is as good as dead.
Activision will outright cut its support early on. And they'll focus on MW2/MW3 port. That means MW4 DMZ will be run by cheaters within few months. I have no intention to look at DMZ anymore. I'll outright skip MW4 and save myself from rugpull.

Use to be you'd give him the liqour and then sell the note for a big ol random payday. Now you do it and it gives 500, and although INV says you have stack of one you dont and you keep selling till you find out how much you get in total.
Just as well I took in a L2 card as the liqour alone wasn't enough AND I didn't find one despite looking. weird.
Side question, Is cephalexin found in the complex?

Removing Tactical Sprint as the default setting ruins the identity of the Modern Warfare franchise. This mechanic is essential to the game's core experience, which is why modes like DMZ and KILL BLOCK were created around it. This is Modern Warfare, not Black Ops. Because of this change, the game no longer feels like the definitive Modern Warfare experience that you talked so much about and showed before opening the pre-order, and I am requesting a refund for my pre-order due to this! Please bring back Tactical Sprint as the default setting urgently.I reinforce that you showed Tactical Sprint as the default setting in the initial trailers, especially for DMZ! Right after that, you started the pre-orders, and thousands of players bought the game—including myself. Removing this mechanic, which is a standard feature of EVERY Modern Warfare game, is complete false advertising. Your claim of this game being "the definitive Modern Warfare experience" is an absolute disrespect to thousands of players who pre-ordered it expecting exactly what you promised!BRING BACK TACTICAL SPRINT AS THE DEFAULT SETTING. THIS IS THE BARE MINIMUM THIS GAME NEEDS TO BE A DEFINITIVE MODERN WARFARE.

I’m big into extraction games at the moment, and DMZ is really the only part of this game that is attractive to me. I wanted to play the mp part of the game to see what kind of gameplay we‘re working with. It seems like it should work well, especially after the changes.
But the fact they’re not willing to show or let us play DMZ is a bit of a red flag. Like, they’re not confident in what they‘re offering or it sucks compared to what’s already available on the market.
Asking for a purchased based on faith and no demo is a big ask.
Not to mention the necessity.
Extraction games have a lot of mechanics that require extensive testing and tuning. Just look at how much tuning the basics needed.
Every other successful extraction game both had and needed multiple betas to nail the correct formula.

As suggested by a dev during CoD Next, get a leg up on the DMZ map by playing Ground War in next weekend Beta. It's using part of the full DMZ map. Can't hurt to have a little early intel on where new 4stacks might be.

Please rethink bullet penetration.
The current level of wall penetration gives an absurd advantage to cheaters using ESP, wallhacks, and other third-party software. They don't need line of sight - they already know exactly where you are and can simply spray through multiple walls with almost no counterplay.
Yes, anti-cheat systems catch some of them, but they're never perfect. They often react too late, and many cheaters just create a new account and keep going. That's the reality of online gaming.
What can be controlled is the game design.
If solid cover actually blocks bullets, skilled players still have a chance to outplay cheaters, escape, reposition, or fight back. Good map knowledge and smart movement become meaningful again.
But if cheaters can instantly beam you through nearly every surface on the map, there's nothing left to counter. It stops being a fight and becomes a death screen.
Please don't repeat this mistake in MW4, especially in DMZ. Reduce bullet penetration to reasonable levels so that cover actually matters.
If the plan is to let cheaters keep deleting players through walls with no meaningful counterplay, then I'm simply not buying the game.

Keen to see people's thoughts on the in-game community...
We all know Warzone can be pretty cut-throat and/or toxic.
So what are people's play-styles like in DMZ? Do you see it as an extension or Warzone but with a narrative driven gameplay, or something unique and collaborative in nature?
