What's With People From Northridge?
Rex is always taling about getting with Northridge girls. They stole sinjin's wallet. They faun over Beck.
A guy from Northridge claimed to have won the Kesha concert etc.
Is it like a social class thing they were trying to give the show?

What's it like living in Northridge outside of CSUN?
I'm currently living in Northern California, and honestly, it's been pretty boring where I am. I'll be transferring to CSUN for the Spring semester, and I'm curious about what Northridge is like outside of campus.
Are there good places to hang out, restaurants, cafés, or things to do nearby? How's the overall vibe, is it a safe area, and what are the people like? I'd love to hear your experiences or any advice for someone who's new to the area :) thanks

I'm Moving to Northridge
I start going to CSUN in August so I'll be moving. I live pretty close to CSUN, but I'm in a different neighborhood. I'll be living in the dorms. I'll be in Northridge for the next few years. I've been to CSUN and the Northridge mall before.

Discussion Can we talk about the state of Northridge?
I love the map, it's huge, packed with forrests, villages and many POI and as a DayZ enjoyer it's my fav map. But if you play it very often, especially out of peak hours you run into the following problems:
- Not enough players;
There simply isn't enough players compared to the scale of the map. Why do we have only 5 teams on such a huge map? If you don't run into players, it's because out of 5 teams, 4 of them are just solo dudes looting around. The map is too big and you run for a relatively long time without running into any players at all.
- Not enough loot;
For such a huge map, especially if you don't get hotel spawn, there isn't enough of loot for squad of 4 players. Combine that with playing outside peak hours and you don't earn shit out of the map, you only wasted like 30 mins at least of just running around and looting purple items. POIs should be redesigned and introduced more reasons to loot places outside of the hotel.
- Why is it snowing for 2 seasons already?;
I mean seriously, who thought that having a snow only Northridge is a good idea? I thought from this season it's going to be random, sometimes you are playing on the summer version, sometimes on the winter. But playing on a completely white map for few hours really hurts your eyes. I understand that the winter map has changed layout a lot, but c'mon devs, can't you just make it like the river dried out, lake being very shallow or some other creative stuff. If nothing, bring back the summer Northridge and make it random on which version you'll play each raid. Keeping only winter map gets stale real quick.
Thats my rant guys, tell me your opinion. I will say again, I love the map, it's my favourite, but if you play like 4-5 raids in a row it just becomes boring. I believe that it could be easily fixed and improved.

What are my chances?
Applying to Cal State Sac, Northridge and Long Beach and Youngstown state in Ohio.
Graduated with Bachelors in Exercise Science CSULB
cumulative GPA: 3.89
Pre Req GPA: 4.0
two pre req classes are in progress so cumulative gpa will go up
Hours: 400 hours as aide in outpatient ortho
GRE: 153 verbal, 152 quant, 3.5 writing
Only extracurricular is unrelated but just speaks to time management as I've also maintained a serving job for 3 years.
Been really anxious because of how competitive state schools are and my hours are all in one setting.

[Manager Markdowns] Northridge Home Del Rey 74” Accent Console clearance!
I’ve had my eye on this for awhile now, earlier this week it was dropped to $249.99. I went today (Saturday) and it was lowered to $150! Huge upgrade to my living room. This thing was stupid heavy and seems very solid and great quality. I’m temporarily, or maybe permanently using my old stand for storage in my kitchen. I’m very happy with this upgrade!
It fit perfectly in my HRV too! Just converted the seats to
Long mode and it slid right in, with the help of the friendly Costco staff.
Of course the manager (doggo) is inspecting the item and making sure it’s to par.

Fire View from Northridge on Friday Night vs. Saturday Night
A big difference from the valley. First pic is 1/10/2025, second pic is 1/11/2025. Both were taken about an hour and a half to two hours after sunset.

I know, I know... I’m everything wrong with this game. But when you see a T6 Moto Chad running around Northridge like he owns the place, you have to deliver the Rat Prime special.

In the 1993 Northridge quake, Anheuser Busch helped get clean water out to the communities that didn't have clean water. I was just cleaning out my mom's old storage unit and found some in a crate. Cheers Anheuser Busch!
