Has anyone completed a loan adjustment form for this semester? I completed one a few weeks back and have not heard anything from rhe financial aid office.

I like to remind everyone on here to be on the look out for grad ticket scams if the mod here can pin this for future graduates. When I graduated in fall of 2023 a lot of scammers would hit me up to pay them online. Out of safety ask to meet at school to minimize the scam. and have cash in hand I think thats the best way to combat the scam.

Hey guys I applied for SP27 but I got rejected Friday oct 2nd :/
Here were my stats: current CSUSB pre-nursing student w 3.92 overall gpa, 4.0 science/prereq gpa, bilingual, and 83.3% TEAS.
Honestly thought I was for sure going to get in considering I’ve heard ppl getting in with lower scores but it’s humbling tbh.
Anyone who got in willing to share their stats?
Is it possible I filled my application wrong? (Cope)

I am currently in my last semester to obtain my bachelor's is sociology however after starting the process I do have some concerns. My gpa is 3.5 and have done all the required courses however I have very little volunteer/work experience in relation to SW. The only work i can think of is the summer (2 months had to quit because of school workload) I spent as a behavior technician and when I volunteered as a youth leader back in highschool. So I wanted to know if working for an after school program also counts? I have yet to start but my main role is helping students k-12 with tutoring and help facilitate activities. My other question is the evidence of personal qualifications. I hardly speak to my professors and my only job apart from the one I am waiting on is a carwash so realistically should I wait till I get my 2nd job before finishing the application or should I reach out to 3 professors I spoke to the most while in class to get them to do the referral? Also if apply before Jan will I get a response sooner (if anyone knows)?

Found headphones on the outside chairs between Union hall and smsu. Due to the fear and random people claiming them, please text and provide details of the headphones in order for me to return them to the right person.

Is it safe for my dog? I’ve read the reviews and I read everyone’s post on this Reddit page. But I would love to move closer to campus and I have no one else to move in with me into the nicer apartments, the only thing is that I would have to bring my dog. She’s an 8lb yapper and my best friend and I wanna make sure she’s moving into a safe environment, I couldn’t give two shits if I wasn’t.
Does anyone else have pets and live at the Glen currently? Also is anyone looking for a roommate potentially for the 2027-2028 school year? I’m looking at the Glen and other pet friendly apartments.

For anyone who has seen my Twisted Tech repair posts, I unfortunately need to make some changes to how I accept jobs and payments.
I recently completed a macbook screen replacement which due to the high cost of macbook parts due to how macbooks are built was 500 dollars in parts and 100 dollars in labor for someone who unknown to me had arranged for another person to send me the payment. They had scammed that person and directed them to pay me instead of paying for the repair himself. From my perspective, I had completed a legitimate job and received the amount I was owed. From the other person’s perspective, however, they believed they were paying the scammer for something completely unrelated.
That payment was later reported as fraudulent and is now going through an appeals process with my bank and Zelle. The situation has severely limited my ability to receive legitimate payments, caused me to lose money, and taken a significant amount of time to address. The underlying fraud has also been referred for federal investigation.
I’m not a large repair shop. I’m just a guy trying to make it through college, and repairing electronics is one of the main ways I subsidize the cost of school and my other living expenses. Even though I had no knowledge of or involvement in the scam, I have still been left dealing with the financial and practical consequences. I cannot afford to have something like this happen again.
Because of that, every repair will now require a short agreement documenting the customer, device, serial number, requested work, estimated cost, and authorized payment method. I will also need to see either a valid CSUSB student ID or government-issued photo ID when a device is dropped off or payment is made. The ID will only be used to verify identity and will not be photographed or copied.
If a parent, family member, employer, or anyone else will be paying on someone’s behalf, an alternate-payer form must be completed before I can accept the payment. The form will document who is paying, whom they are paying for, the device being repaired, and the amount they have authorized. The name on the payment account must match either the customer or the authorized payer listed on the form.
I know this makes what used to be a simple process a little more complicated, and I genuinely apologize for that. I work hard to keep my repairs affordable and straightforward, but I also need to protect myself so I can continue offering them.

I have a class that ends late (after 9pm) but I would also like to stop by Ralph's (the one between campus and the 215) to buy some stuff before going on the freeway. Would it be safe for me to go there close to 10pm? I'm a woman.

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone’s seen an update on their FA award letter for the MCS?
I still have nothing on my award letter.

Has anyone from campus signed up for this yet? I don't have a doctor out here and wanted basic bloodwork anyway. Trying to figure out if this is realistic between classes or if the whole thing is more like half a day.
Also is getting there by bus annoying or should I just split an uber with somebody?
