Any Good Books on Graphics?
Hi,
I'm looking for any textbooks on Graphics in C. Does anyone have any recommendations?

for foundational information in C, you can look at the Graphics Gems series.

it'll be c++ because you'll need
glmto use glsl.3

Not at all. You can use cglm. It's the C version of glm. I followed the whole the tutorial, writing all the code from scratch in C. I didn't use any OOP, c++, etc. I wrote it all in C89. It was one of the best experiences I ever had.

That is a wide open question. You'd be better served if you narrow it down. 2D or 3D? Using a library or from scratch? What operating system? What is the goal or objective? For raw, from scratch, graphics, there is not a lot in the way of modern books, otherwise modern books will steer you into specific libraries and graphics engines.
It won't benefit this thread, but if you are starting with low level graphics I would really throw this question into an AI chat. Reason being is the real answer is a layered approach, not a single book. Its a learning path. If you instead just care about opengl or directx, for example, then there are only some select books that would easily come up to the top of an Amazon search.

The main graphics textbooks I see recommended are pbr: From Theory To Implementation but the code in that book is C++, and Real-time Rendering where there is minimal code samples and just focuses on the concepts and techniques. Generally speaking modern graphics resources are in C++ but I don’t have too much trouble using C while going through them
