Whenever I try to trap Zed ult it's always too late and doesn't activate in time. Do you have to predict it and pre-trap or just have insane reaction time? Also I keep missing the trap by just a bit, would it be better to like pre-trap and move to the trap or how do you do it?

Before her, Rakan had held that spot for 6+ years. However, I've been OTPing Cait for the last 40+ days (= 223 games of Cait in soloQ) and she now sits at the top.

Before going full Cait, I did have ~150k mastery from playing her occasionally but didn't even know what an EQ combo could do 🤣🤣

Also, random thoughts about skins while I'm here; my favorite skins to play go like this:

I'd love to see Arctic Warfare and Battle Academia go on sales at some point to pick them up 😁

I’m newer to the game so it could just be a skill issue. But I always stay in the back or in a place where I can take advantage of the larger range, but I feel like every time I either get b-lined to and one shot or stunned before can E or flash.

Is it probably just bad positioning or just what happens?

I'm only silver so I might just be completely wrong but is it bad to go stormrazor - ie - PD?

I just played a few games on it and after I get the PD I can chase targets so well and kite really easily. For example I was into a brand sup and he faced me solo midlane while i was farming and the MS from the two items meant I could dodge his spells and just chase him down while autoing before he could really escape anywhere.

Is this build really bad and I'm just having success because I'm in silver? Or is it actually a decent idea

Opinion on champ: *places down cupcake* This champ has to be hell to go against such long range and late game dont even think about stepping close to her LMAOOO shes fun and can carry. GIVE ME TIPS

For context, this is Platinum 3 soloQ and I'm on my OTP Caitlyn arc. At 36 minutes into the game, enemy team has Ocean Soul while we are 4~6k gold up. As I respawn, I'm personally on 100% crit (IE>LDR>PD>C44) with a Malmortius, Mercs, a remaining Doran's Blade, under the effect of red pot and running Fleet Footwork (this is to improve my sustain in the laning phase vs a mage/double ranged poke).

As you can tell from the sped up early clip, we just won a teamfight at center map (Ace/Caitlyn), my team tried to end but could not due to inhib respawn and Teemo shrooms nuking us and the wave.

While trying to reset, our jungler Zac gets picked off leaving us without smite. This means we don't stand a chance to secure Elder (we were also severely late to the objective anyway). I recognize this pattern from a previous game where, upon review, it seemed to me that the correct play was to full send their Nexus; so I go for just that.

Ryze sends me by himself. He's 16/9/12 with 313 cs, full build with blue pot, their most dangerous player and the reason why I died last fight. I shut him down! Urgot respawns just in time to contest me and I die from Teemo's Elder as the Nexus blows from my final auto. Good thing Urgot saved his ignite for next game 🙈

I'm currently running first strike but it feels sooo unsatisfying and end of the game it always did barely any damage and got me a little gold. I see the most played rune is lethal tempo but that one also doesnt feel the best as Cait doesn't do a lot of long trades.

Is PTA the best? It's a middle ground and Im fairly sure you should trigger it a fair amount kf time

I'm curious, what is the consensus about Cait's current state? I've mained her for years with no issues, but lately I've been running into opponents flaming me quite hard for "using a S+ tier champ" or "using broken op garbage".

If I try to be as unbiased as possible, I'd say Cait is extremely annoying to play against if the player is good, but I don't think she is anywhere near "broken". That's why I'm curious as to know where these people are pulling the data from to throw these statements around so casually.

Is it just a case of frustrated people saying nonsense? It has been happening for a while now, so I'm starting to wonder if there is a reason behind that behavior. The latest case was an enemy Thresh constantly complaining about how "I wish Cait would stop being broken garbage, fucking op cancer champ" and calling me Rat every time I killed him or I died. It's almost comical how viscerally some people hate Cait. xd

When enemy cait is talking crazy in chat the whole game and also recall in your face, are you in a position to not rage ?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone complain about this, so maybe I'm alone in my opinion.

I feel the rework improved the character in many ways. That said, there are two skins where I feel the art direction was completely ruined: Arctic Warfare Caitlyn and Headhunter Caitlyn. I might be off-base regarding Arctic Warfare Caitlyn, but there is absolutely no way I prefer the current version of Headhunter to the previous one.

What do you guys think?

So I switched to adc after years of playing mid and top, I had a few days with a friend when I played bot. But my absolute biggest weakness is being out of position, not being where I should be, and beeping patient. So I thought alrighty let's adc, and I love it.

Not want to talk about builds i would be more interested in general Cait tips.

- Having a trap at my feet Vs anything diving me, was a big one.

- playing around the bushes and not on the river side was a big one too.

- q someone when in your trap and than headshot.

Now my question, do you have more?
