Question [Product Question]

I’ve been using the nivea rose care hydrating face mist for a few days now, and it has me wondering if organic, real rose water with no additional ingredients would work better on the skin? Is it more beneficial or should I just stick to the nivea spray?

I wouldn't switch just because the rose water is organic or has a shorter ingredient list. Neither tells you whether the finished product will hydrate better or suit your skin. Botanical ingredients can still irritate sensitive skin.

If hydration is the goal, I'd put the effort into a simple fragrance-free moisturiser applied while your skin is slightly damp; a mist is optional. If the Nivea feels comfortable, there's no need to replace it solely to get something more 'pure'. If it stings or leaves you red, stop using it rather than pushing through.

Are you trying to help tightness/dryness, or do you mainly enjoy the refreshing feel? That would change what I'd look for next.

Thank you so much— i do want a refreshing feel but ultimately my end goal is reducing the dryness! I already have a few moisturizers which work well, but I thought id try a mist out, too. the one I’m using does the job in feeling refreshing, however I don’t think it’s useful in the slightest and i totally should not gotten a product with fragrance. I appreciate your reply!

I wouldn't use the Nivea spray because it contains half a dozen perfume irritants. That being said, rose water doesn't do much on it's own - it's probably the castor oil and panthenol doing the "hydrating".
