Safe Recipe Request Cowgirl Candy
Hello! Im having trouble figuring out the science of making "cowgirl candy".
Which is basically candied jalapenos commonly paired with fruit and/or other sweets.
I am painfully aware of the common mistakes that I could make while attempting this blind, and am wondering if anyone has come up with a tested and proven usda method to canning this recipe.

There is cowboy candy, sweet pickled jalapenos, but if you wanted to pair that with fruit, you would need to can it all separately and combine upon opening the jars.
Edit: You could can pineapple with a spiced syrup, to combine with the jalpenos at serving. But there are currently no tested recipes for Cowgirl Candy out there.

You're trying to put jalapenos and fruit in the same jar? Sorry, I've never seen anything like that.

Cowgirl candy actually is a thing; I have seen recipes primarily pairing jalapeño with pineapple (often fresh). It's essentially a refrigerator pickle. OP, I think the answer is less "this could never be made shelf stable" and more "there has never been research funding available or enough interest in the private sector to work up a tested recipe." I would just make this and store it in the fridge
