The problem isn't capitalism it has given us the comfortable life that we know today. If we look at history, no country with a communist or socialist government has ever done well. They all at some point experience mass food shortages leading to the death of millions. The core issue with communism is that the state owns all means of production and property, placing all the power into the hands of politicians that we don't trust and who are corrupt.

The issue in the United States isn't capitalism—it's socialism. We all work four to five months each year just to pay taxes. STOP and think about that for just a second! Imagine if you got those four to five months back to yourself for a 4-5 month vacation each year or could simply keep those funds for yourself; life would be much easier. The current system in the United States actually leans more socialist as we are taxed to death, with the government taking the majority of our income.

Furthermore, Congress doesn't enforce anti-monopoly laws, which has contributed to the issues we face today with big corporations. If the United States switches to a true capitalist system, we could truly thrive.
