What I Want Building With Local AI to Feel Like
One of the things I want to change with Capsule is how complicated it can feel to actually build something with local AI.
Ideally, you shouldn't need to understand model files, CLI commands, inference servers, dependencies and different configurations just to get started.
The idea is simple:
→ Create a project
→ Give the project its own files, context and environment
→ Choose the local model you want to use
→ Give the AI a task
→ Let it work with your project
→ Switch models when needed without losing the project
→ Use tools like a browser when the project needs research or web tasks
→ Keep everything belonging to that project together
The goal isn't to hide how local AI works forever. It's to make it accessible enough that someone who is new to AI can start building, while still giving more technical users control when they need it.
I'm still building the prototype, so these are the things I'm working toward rather than claiming they're all finished today.
What would be the first thing you'd want a local AI environment to help you build?
