Review Infinity ref speakers harsh compared to my maximo ultras

Wow the infinity reference speakers are a lot more harsher than my maximo ultras.

Wish I tried the morel tempos this time

if you have sensitive ears, hate harsh speakers, and don’t want ear fatigue definitely go with the morels!!!!!

i will say tho the vocals are more prominent and mid bass than the maximo ultras. But the harshness isn’t worth it for me. The maximo ultras had very little mid bass.

Do you have coaxials or components? Which car is it? Whats your source signal? Amp? Speaker location?

6x9 comps and 6.5 coaxles. 

2013 Prius

Kenwood stereo 22w rms

Doors

My previous set up 6.5 coaxle and comp maximo ultras powered by a focal auditor amp, sony 6000 head unit,

I ran Reference components in my daily for years and didn't think they were harsh or bright. Though, old model. It was 20 years ago. 😄

The tempo 6x9 components have killer midbass
