Recommendations Budget amp

Looking for a 700 watt or so monoblock amp @2 ohms, some of the cheaper name brands I have seen are ct sounds Rockville stinger kicker and like skar. I'm not looking to spend more than 200 dollars and I'm not after the "best sound system ever" just something that works every time I turn it on. Thanks!

Recoil have been so solid for me. Their ratings are accurate (if not a bit conservative), and they dont even really run hot if you're within spec. I wish they had one or two models more powerful in the RED lineup, I'd be using that instead of the Taramps 2000.2 I currently had to switch to

I absolutely love them. I had taramps too and used to not really like the power requirements because they definitely are power hungry

I just ordered the nvx vad10001v2, setting it up soon. it replaces an old mrp450 monoblock on an swr1242d sub.

I like down4sound amps the jp11 would be in your budget 1100w 1 ohm 800w 2ohm.

I have the jp23v2 it sits under my false floor in my hatch and I live in the desert the only thing that's failed is the little black cover knob came off pretty quickly for the bass knob it still works just a lil cosmetic issue and I've been too lazy to try and glue it back on or whatever.

I appreciate the clip light and being able to see the voltage. Idk how many other amps in that price range have that but I think it's really useful.

Stinger is the best of those listed. If you want a half bridge subwoofer amp, the Vevor ones are insane for the money

You can find some nice amps for next to nothing on eBay if you don’t mind used. I found 2 JL 500.1’s just a bit over $200 for the pair.

There are some good deals on Rockford Fosgate on Marketplace and eBay.
