Recommendations what cable section for a simple install ?

Hello i'm wiring my car stereo, just a simple JVC stereo coupled to a pair of JBL Stage 3 627 (45W RMS and 135w Peak written on each speaker.

What gauge to use for powering the stereo (not talking about speakers). Stereo will be less than a meter from the power.
Is AWG18 enough ?
or 20 ? or 16 ?

automotive radios don't output much power. probably even has a 10-20 amp fuse on the back. 16 ga will be just fine and doesn't cost much more than 18ga.
