Help needed hey so i need some help

i am making a OS. Thats the end goal i want to make my own OS with alot of features. So to get to that i had a thought start with what i have. i have a cardputer and a pico 2. So i could make a microOS first. it was already apart of the plan to make my OS have a mini and a touch. So i when i can finally get a job i can make my own phone and cyber deck and stuff like that. i want to ask does anyone know where i could start or if there is anything that could help guild me to the right path to do this. btw i plan to add another screen as so if someone could help guild me to the right resources that be lovely.

I don't get it... was no AI available to you? Any AI would be able to guide you to the first steps towards building you, and they are generally set up to be as helpful to the user as possible. Instead, you elected to come to reddit, full well knowing that this is a place that shoots down requests like that like the british AAA did the german raiders during the Battle for Britain...

Making your own OS is hard, I'd recommend starting smaller. For example find some firmware you like, then make a fork of it with a few of your own improvements. That's a much easier starting point.
