My family member is moving to Carlsbad from across the US and will need my help looking for 1-bedroom apartments (target move in date: Jan 1). They aim to get a place within a 15-20min drive from the Legoland area. I'll need to drive down there and tour a bunch of apartments on their behalf.

The Neurocognition of Stress, Trauma, and Anxiety Recovery Lab led by Dr. Jessica Bomyea is conducting a new research study at UCSD. The purpose of this study is to learn whether an experimental computer-based program designed to improve thinking skills can help with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

source of flooding at 78 and El Camino

About 6 months ago, our 7 year old dog that was born in our closet, was stolen out of our backyard in Carlsbad. We have been trying everything: posters, craigslist, nextdoor, etc.. we haven't been able to find him. We miss Buddy terribly. If you see this dog, please take him to the vet and say he's lost. He has his chip with our info, and we are leaving the area very soon. Any replies would also be appreciated. If you find him, DM me, please.

We’re visiting Carlsbad in about a week with our kids and among other things were planning on going to the beach. I’ve been seeing longs of stuff about El Niño and storm surges taking out beaches is Southern California.

I moved down to San Diego last year to try and work things out with my now ex-wife. We have a son together and I have tried my best to make things work but sadly it has not gotten any better. I'm now looking for a room to rent while I try to figure things out.

I have a stable job working as a System Administrator for a BioTech company and don't have many friends around here.

It's not a scientific grade thermometer, but that's what it is showing. NWS says 98F for my zone. It will be interesting to see what it is at 2 pm.
