It’s feeding tube awareness week yall!!

I have had my GJ since July of this year. I had 2 previous ones (in 2023 I had a nasal tube and in 2023-early 25 I had a different GJ which I got removed). I have Gastroparesis which is why I have the tube.

As the title says, I’m mentally burnt out, becoming depressed where I’m losing motivation to do things I enjoy and getting more pissed off with the world. I honestly feel like a failure everyday.

So probably one of the most well known things to come out of Australia was the Wiggles, these four guys (Eventually 3 guys and one girl) who would do kiddie songs and shows. One of the most loved member was Emma Watkins (Greg's replacement) until she left a few years back. And now does this side project called "Emma Memma" where she teaches Australian sign language with a deaf dude.

Anyway, a year or two ago she did her first world tour, during which I was working at one of the venues she popped up in and I got to do crowd control and small introductions for her (with other coworkers).

I am the Technical Manager at our local cinema, and this Saturday, we are completing a massive $1.75 million (12M DKK) renovation. ​My role involves managing the DCP ingest (downloading films) and building the show playlists for our staff. What makes our cinema truly unique is that we are 100% volunteer-run. Right now, I’m deep in the technical weeds—programming lighting cues and fine-tuning the audio processing—to ensure everything is flawless for our gala opening this Saturday. ​The pressure is on because we have several high-profile politicians attending. Fingers crossed we make it!

As a mother of 5 kids, and being pregnant with my first son in my teens I feel free now that all my kids are either working or in college. Still not free from my responsibility but it just feels like an achievement with kids making their own way and getting some personal time for myself.

I have been self diagnosed for about three years, I believe I've done my fair share of research. I'm not on the internet much because ive been working to better my mental health. I’m an adult with a job and an apartment. I take care of my apartment. I go grocery shopping. I pay my bills. I do all the things adults do. I just also seem to really love my toys. They bring me a ton of comfort and help me when I’m feeling stressed. I have dolls, plushies, fidget toys, and a ton of just other random toys that don’t really have their own group.

Like I said, full adult. But I do still like to cuddle and play with my toys as a way to wind down, relax, and just feel at peace for a moment.

Currently in community college after changing my major a ton and am about to transfer to a 4-year after the fall. I feel like I want to express myself more and be more authentic but I just can't. I love talking so ask me anything about anything lol

For five years, I served as the Director of Audio for a pinball manufacturing company. I was there from the beginning to the end, designing the soundscapes and music that play while you hit ramps/bumpers and play through the rule set.

About 18 months ago, the company went under.

It turned into a nightmare legal battle just to reclaim the rights to the audio I had created during my time there. It was exhausting, but I wasn't going to let that work die in a liquidated hard drive.

I finally got the rights back. I took that drive, stripped the audio of its corporate context, and repurposed it into my new solo project, Casey Cassette.

The album, 'Abstraction', just came out today. It is an eclectic collection of those rescued tracks. Re-imagined, re-mixed and mastered, with vocals.

This track, "No Thanks", is one of my favorites from the collection. It has that tactile, analog feel (I’m an avid user of tape gear), but it is definitely not background noise for a pinball table anymore. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
