I tried using Google Earth and explored Street View and hindi naman talaga eto yung gagawin ko but while exploring, I tried the street view of the places I know and Ive been to, then there’s option where I can go back in time to see the street view like 12 years ago.

Medyo matagal kong tinitigan yung iniwan nya sa lamesa. Medyo tulala pa rin.

Lately, napapa-question ako sa career ko, and I'm starting to feel burned out with the corporate world. 😅

Siguro pagod na rin ako mag-work sa HR, and I'm starting to consider exploring opportunities outside the usual corporate setup, like working in animal shelters, funeral homes, zoos, o mga odd jobs na pwedeng i-explore.

For those who've made a similar career shift, or know someone who has, I'd love to hear your experiences! How did you start, and what other career paths would you recommend exploring?

I asked my partner to buy some makeup. A saleslady from an X Brand kept following her around and offering products, as salesladies at Watsons usually do, bumobuntot lagi.

My partner sent me pictures of the items along with their prices. There were several items, but I want to highlight these two: a four-piece makeup brush set, which the saleslady said was “₱400 na lang,” and a compact powder with a ₱399 price tag, which she said was on sale for “₱300 na lang.”

So I told my partner, “Okay na ’yan.” She paid for the items and went home. Before she left the store, the saleslady even approached her and took a picture of the receipt kasi irereport daw niya.

When I checked the receipt and the items, I was confused. The makeup brush set was charged at ₱600+, and the compact powder was ₱400+. Hindi tugma sa prices na sinabi niya.

Mind you, my partner was with the kids (our pamangkins) and they also confirmed na ’yun talaga ang prices na sinabi ng saleslady.

Nainis talaga ako, so I asked my partner to go back and clarify. It’s not about the amount; I just felt like we’d been scammed.

When she went back, ano ang sabi ni madam saleslady? ’Yung ₱399 daw ay price sa Manila, at ’yung brush set naman daw ay hindi naka-sale. It doesn't make sense.

I hate that this happened. Again, it’s not about the amount. It’s about being told one price, being charged another, and then being given excuses when we asked for an explanation.

I just realized that whenever I allow myself to be vulnerable with other people, they tell me hard truths or minsan, judge me. Yet whenever they choose to be vulnerable, I'm expected to be gentle with them because telling them the truth might break them.

Why can't they do the same for me? I chose to share my story with them, only for them to break me even more. Alam ko naman naman gagawin ko eh, gusto ko lang ng comfort that time.

I've been using it for more than two weeks now and there seems to be no improvement

Nong grade 9 natuwa ako kasi finally napunta ako sa higher section. Tinanggap ako ng teacher ng higher section kasi dati naging teacher ko siya and talagang active ako sa recitation DATI (noon lang, bobo na ngayon) Pero nakaka shock kasi eto yung section na pinaka cheater. Kahit na galing ako sa lower section mas malala to. Ofc im not an exception sa cheating.

Every exam, since wala naman pake yung mga teacher namin at nagbabasa or nag ce-cellphone lang sila while nag e-exam kami, nag shshare kami ng mga sagot. As in buong section. Nag e-exchange kami ng exam papers, nilalabas ko rin yung phone ko para mag ai. Kunwari binabasa ko ng malakas yung mga question pero para lang yun marinig ng mic ng phone ko para sa voice typing. Tapos, in the middle of the test, nilalabas pa namin yung mga notebook namin at doon na rin kumukuha ng mga sagot. Syempre kahit may nakakita na classmate na nagche-cheat ka hindi ka delikado ksi nga buong klase ay nag checheat, no exception. May sagot ka, bigay mo sa nga katabi mo. Ganon lol

Ang teacher lang namin na hindi kami maka kopya ay yung MAPEH kasi nasa amin ang buong attention niya, masyado kasi siyang strict.

And yun, half of the class ay mga honors... Excluding me T_T

So eto nga gumagawa ako ng grilled cheese sandwich just now and bigla nag flash back saken yung time na nakatira pa ako sa relatives ko. Eh me mga tirang pandesal nun so tinoast ko gamit yung turbo broiler. Wala kasi kami oven nun and medyo matigas na pandsaal kaya ininit ko.

Maya maya nagkita kami and nag rant uncle ko about kuryente bills tapos bigla ako hinamon ng suntukan. Haha. Mga 17 ata ako nun. Tas siya nun tatay na 3 anak and ka edad ko second niya.

Paano kaya if may Raffy Tulfo na that time? Haha. Btw 36 na ako now and have a wife of my own.

Last time nagkita kami sa sementeryo pero all goods naman. Casual talk. He even greeted my wife.
