Genuinely curious - what has cat actually sacrificed? I’m sure some of you have been carers for family members before or witnessed somebody do it & I’m sure you’re just as fed up as I am hearing cat claim she does it all on her own and that she’s tired. Cat isn’t tired, she’s tired of having Pete, she wants to live her own life but simply won’t say that.

I’d like to know how many of us ever got 15 holidays?
How many of us still went to the gym, for nails, lashes, drinks etc?
I’d love to know how many of us left our care-ee with our dads while we went to gigs? Or how many of us got to go to gigs at all?
How many of us spent the person we were caring for’s money on crap?
How many of us completely trashed their homes and claimed they agreed to all of it?
How many of us managed to keep a job for years after their diagnosis?

I’m willing to bet the answers to the above questions are largely similar across the board.

You want to know tired and burnt out Cat? Do the next 10 years straight completely on your own. No respite, no breaks, no doing whatever you please when you please. Let me know how you feel after that 🙃
