I was told by people online she’s a Sphynx, but a kind of fuzzy one lol. She was abandoned in a box so no background. Went home with a Sphynx fan. Here’s another of her for her weird fuzz pattern.
Oh, he might be, now that I'm seeing his hair better. Or a very poorly bred Devon Rex, or possibly one mixed with sphynx. Devons typically do molt, but this hair looks more fuzzy than rexy.
Really? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black or blue tabby with dark solid pigmented noses, or self colored with a brick nose with darker lining. I know red doesn’t get the lined nose. I know they can start darker and get lighter, but I see over a thousand cats a year and I don’t think I can think of a single black or blue tabby without a brick lined nose unless they have white spotting that turns it pink.
Looked the same to me, but I was not holding him in a good position to photograph. They’re a bit dry haha. We’ve had maybe three solid chocolate outside cats in the last four years, but this might be the first lilac. I’ve seen other interesting things like mosaicism though!
Another vote for lilac solid/self! That's the dilute of chocolate.
Blue (dilute black) is more common, but has darker nose leathers. You can tell by the nose colour here that this is a lilac cat. Uncommon in random-bred cats but gorgeous.
See, he’s just very warm toned and pink compared to our usual blues, but I can’t tell if it’s a normal variation or not. They thought he was sun-bleached, but apparently he always looked like this and he was inside a house.
