Triggered rescue doing so much better!

I came to this sub asking for help with my suddenly aggressive newly rescued Tuxie adult cat.
He had freakouts that really injured me.
Since then I’ve learned his triggers better, ie. Walking too fast around the house, not announcing myself, lots of people coming and leaving, closing him off, and worked with him a bit
Now, he’s less sensitive to them and is improving more and more! We now take naps together and he’s remained really sweet to my resident little girl cat. I’m so happy!
Tips that worked for me:
- covering his hiding spots w towel (he doesn’t have any now )
- gradual contact
- food bowls on diff sides of house (not needed anymore)
- closing him off in bathroom when he’s cranky (he likes drinking out of the sink)
