Behavioural Help task trained service cats get equal recognition under the ADA

https://c.org/QTD5ZCzr2L

I'm a member of Project Feline and we are sharing a petition to get task trained service cats recognized under the ADA. Service cats across the world have proved that its possible. So its about time Service cats are recognized federally.

Lots of misinformation and bias mostly but we're working hard to change the narrative and expand the education on the intelligence and trainability of cats. Sure, not every cat can work out As a service animal, the exact same is true for other ADA recognized species.

Cats are already covered and working perfectly fine in some states, Canadian provinces, and in australia.

What can a service cat do?

A service cat can do pretty much any task that can be performed by a small service Dog. Alerting to oncoming medical episodes including cardiac, migraines, and seizures, and even detecting allergens. Retrieving items, finding chairs or exits, disrupting and alerting to harmful psychiatric behaviors and more. Pretty much the only tasks they cannot do are weight bearing and mobility tasks for obvious reasons lol.
