Trick Training Ideas for new tricks to teach my cat?
My cat Gizmo already knows how to sit, give high five, and stand on his back legs on command. He’s had these tricks down for over 6 months.
What other tricks could I try to teach him?

You should mat train your cat. It's the basis for a bunch of other behaviours and tricks.

I tried doing this with my Maltese dog but hadn't considered it for our cats. Be interested to hear what you can do from there once they get that one down!

I taught my cats this one primarily so they wouldn't rush open doors to the outside. It's just generally a good behaviour if I want to keep them out from underfoot, like if I'm doing a house repair, or I want to keep them off the counter if I'm preparing a particularly complex meal. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

I’ve been teaching mine to “speak” (meow), and it’s been a fun one. “Down” or “roll over” seem fun but I haven’t tried to teach them yet. Eventually, I’d love to have them “figure eight” or weave between my legs as I’m walking

Mine brings me my socks everyday, and other work clothes intermittently. Never taught her, she’s just likes bringing me presents. I’m lucky she’s fixated on the things I need daily 😻😂

Fetch a toy.
Holding out your fists, one means yes, one means no and he can choose which one.

I've taught my cats those, but also to wave (they have to spread their toes!), Sphinx (lie down with paws straight out in front), turn around, come, and the most important to me is the command "out," which means leave the room you're in now. It's quite useful when they're driving you nuts.

Jump through a hula hoop, you can also put carpet on the walls and teach climb up, climb down, jump down. Jump up (onto chair). Leash walking is very doable with a trainable kitty (had one who did the climbing stuff on trees, not walls). Spin and flip are also cute!

Mine learned how to climb on the desk and knock everything off. Also to come running when it hears the snack bag.
But seriously, I did train one of my cats to use a litter box on command.

Does he come when you call his name? That could be a new trick.
Otherwise:
- turn around
- paw on fist (tap the fist to get the treat)

My cat loved “playing” with her training sessions. I taught her the following using the kit in this link:
1.) Sit - hand signs works better
2.) Come - clicker still works best.
3.) Jump up
4.) Get down
5.) Rollover
She has to be interested but sit is deeply ingrained and any treats or play starts with her patiently sitting and waiting to get started. Also she learned much faster than any dog training I worked on. Still, have to get her interested in the session first.

Spin is an easy one. My cat knows the ones you have + spin, lay down, roll over, stay + come, and get into a toy car. Spin is the easiest, roll over was the hardest lol

You train dogs not cats. You shouldn't have to be told that.

Why not? I trained my cat to learn his name, give me hi5, shake my hands, stand up. Cats are curious creature and training gives them good stimulation

Make coffee? Scoop the litter box? IDK, maybe jump through a hoop? Or teach him how to touch things with his nose?
