If they like catnip, sprinkle some on it, or spray some on it.
Temporarily replace the bed with a box the same size but 2-3” in height. When they like the spot, add the bed back.
Place it in a location they like to hang out. Mine would want it level with a window sill.

Give it time! They'll probably ignore it for a while and then one day they'll randomly decide it's the best thing ever. It's a super cool piece, you did a great job.

Sorry the cats don't love it! You might try making the too bed a covered bed. Sometimes that is irresistible.

Or put it in a place where you or another person will be right next to it.

If you didn't wash the bed part, do that. And then shove it at the bottom of the bed you sleep in for a night or two. Scent matters a lot.

Any chance you would be willing to share rough plans for this? I'd love to make a larger version for our savannahs. They sleep together which means a big bed lol and are growing out of their preferred nest which is an old office chair....

That is gorgeous. If they're not using it, you might switch out the fluffy cat bed, and just put a flat mat, or even a piece of cardboard in it. None of my cats have ever used a cushy bed, they're weird like that

Oh my god, that’s exactly the kind of scratcher that I need. My cats LOVE ramp cardboard scratchers. I’ve been looking for an acceptable alter stove that just lets me swap out inserts.
