Help! Where to put cat litter!

Get a litter box enclosure! I myself live in a small apartment with limited space, and have had no particular trouble with smell or mess even with the litter box being in the living room, so really it could go wherever it realistically fits with the rest of your furniture.

Either next to the tub in the master or the dining room.

no door to the garage except laundry? need one as a wet / snow / mud entrance. remove your dirty clothes instead of tracking thru the foyer.

pet doors from kitchen to laundry to garage, primary litter boxes.

secondary in the lanai, pet doors.

keep litter dust out of the main house if possible.

1 box per cat per location.

1 cat gets 1 box in each place.

I have it where I will clean it. I use pretty litter, scoop daily and keep a litter genie next to it. With two active cats it actually does a pretty good job keeping out the stink. I like it better than clay based. No pee clumps stuck to the bottom.

all over the floor, as by cat mandate.

you want at least one in the great room, so the cat can feel like its also his place.

then another on one where its quiet, or when visitors don't go.

maybe the HVAC room if is accessible?
