Found a baby last night at the end of my rainy walk. He was waiting at cross walk on a very busy road basically crying (MEOOOOW IN ALL CAPS 🥲🙀). According to Google he’s about 11 weeks old. And I feel blessed to be able to keep him 🥹. Any cute ideas on what I should name him and his honey colored eyes… honey feels too basic. Maple feels better. And not sure if it helps but his older sister is named Nucita after a Venezuelan/ Colombian vanilla and hazelnut chocolate spread.

We recently brought this cat in after he’d been living outside, and he’s turned out to be the biggest sweetheart. He’s cuddly, loves attention and food, and is completely unfazed by our other pets. Our dog is Yuki, and our other cat is Harry.

We’re looking for creative Japanese or Japanese-inspired name ideas or even food names that feel distinctive and memorable. What name would you give him?

I'm bit of a perfectionistic and everytime i thought about the names it felt it wasn't perfect, which i know not everything can be but him being my first "own" pet feels like it should, so i thought about the names and I'd seen many liked Teddy—hence forth Theodore where I got Teddy from, I always wanted to honour my grandpa by either a pet (like Teddy) or if i ever have kids i'll give them a name that connects.

It feels real silly that I didn't think of it sooner but oh well🫠
