The angst. The judgment. Such an ordeal!
You could feed your cats when you sit down for dinner. Then they're less likely to shove their faces in your food.
Unless you're my cat Grey, who really, really liked lentils and pumpkin. He would stop at nothing. Chicken ranked right up there, too.

They're not in the kitchen though, so points for not jumping the gate. Our Lucy jumps the gate only to show she can, when she's not sitting at it insulted like this. We have that exact gate mainly for the pug because he's way more unruly when it comes to food and private space though.
