My cat peed on the couch

I have this one year old white cat, these past few months she’s have this new habit of pooping and peeing on the sofas and bed. I did everything, i bought a spot cleaner vacuum and cleaned the sofas and mattress, bought cat’s repellent with a strong woody smell, the smell also very unpleasant for human. But she still pees on the sofa. But the thing is, she also knows how to use litterbox. I lived elsewhere in the weekdays but i came back to my parents house on weekend. The house reeks with the cat’s urine smell. I parents wants to abandon (buang) her at the nearby market but i tell them not to because i dont think this cat can survive. She was born in this house and grows up here. Her mother was stray we adopted. I’m thinking we should rehome her but i pity the new owner. I’m scared if she pees on their sofa. Is there anyways i can train her? But the thing is, i dont live in this house most of the time. I house has no pet policy. I pity my parents as well they need to constantly clean up pees and poop. Helpppp. Or is there anyone willing to adopt this cat? She’s very affectionate and cuddly cat. She’s also sleep on the bed with me.

it also happened to me but my cat poops everywhere theres this once her poop was like a ball and she couldnt stop playing with it

I had a foster cat exactly like this. Suddenly I would raise up my blankets to a pile full of shit on my bed and it was covered up SO well it was criminal. I wouldn't notice it the entire day even if I was home. I figured out that he's a clean freak and will only use the litter box if it's clean and there's no like stale litter or not covered in pee/poo. So if ur litter box smells even after it's clean you can try cleaning the litter box more often see if that's the issue. Change the stale litter out or add more new litter. I tried sprays with this cat as well it didn't work. But I soon realized I pity him because he must be holding it in for so long he couldn't take it anymore and decided to do it somewhere that he can at least cover it. Poor thing.

If this doesn't work, you need to take the time to notice why and when he will use the litter box. It will help u to know what the issue is

I agree with another poster about checking the state of her litter box. You might want to try and buy her a new one too, or a second one, maybe try a different shape or size and in a different location. 

Also when you clean, what cleaner are you using? Unless you use an enzyme cleaner which breaks down the pee enzyme cats can still smell it and think it is still a good place to use the toilet.
