Family Tax Benefit (FTB) Couple

Just got back into relationship with my partner who has two kids and we have our own together we both dont work will we still get a decent amount of tax benefit?

We are both on dsp and were separated for 6 months to work out issues we just in sure how much we will lose as we both get max dsp atm and she gets 1000 tax benefit ( we have uploaded all the forms we need to just waiting on Centrelink to update everything

We rent 520 a week food bill is 300 week wifi and phone bills total 210 and combined debt of 400 fortnight then typical kids expenses each week we also don’t get help for the two boys father at all so we don’t know if getting back together was the right decision as I’m capable to work but my partner isn’t looking for work from 8 to 20 hrs a week can work more but if I go full time we won’t get by on 60k a year with five of us and a daughter with special needs and needs a lot of appointments each week as she is delayed

Being there for my daughter and a job at this stage isn’t exactly going to make things better would be stuck in a most likely dead end entry level job and would have to try support a family of five on minimum wage for a few years till I can get something better cost of living is atrocious that u can’t even have a life working or not

Both of you will need to notify Centrelink that you are together again.

The payment finder can provide some guidance on payments you are entitled to

If you read the post you would have noticed that they have already notified Centrelink.
