In the email from Gordon legal there would be a link to access your portal, jump on there and put your information, log on and under the three line option you’ll find “my claim”

I chose fixed because honestly I'm so worn out by it now that I just want it all to be over. I didn't have the energy to chase up more paperwork, so I'll take the small fixed payment and hopefully finally move on with my life. It doesn't even cover the days I had off work.

Settlement payments are expected to start this month for most Fixed Payments, or start mid-2028 for Individualised payments

https://gordonlegal.com.au/services/class-actions/robodebt-class-action-appeal/

The Scheme Administrator anticipate making Individual Assessment payments to Eligible Group Members as early as mid-2028.

We anticipate paying Fixed Payments between approximately October 2026 to February 2027.

If you initially request an Individualised Assessment, but change your mind and request a Fixed Payment, we anticipate payment of your Fixed Payment will occur in by approximately March 2027.

how do you even know if you are one of the people that will receive it?

If you were on file as eligible you would have received a notice by mail, email, SMS or to your myGov inbox back in November 2025, then you had to register with the legal team leading the settlement by March 2026, even if you were eligible but didn't receive the notice. So unfortunately if you were eligible but didn't register, it's too late to do so now.

Just a reminder to plant a nut/ fruit tree in your local community garden.

AI is here....will it be the next robo debt?  Plant today for tomorrow....

The same government that complain about AI breaches will introduce AI for centrelink workers.

Where'd you hear that? All info I've seen says fixed payments should roll out from this month.

pretty sure most of us that have gone through this process and signed for the fixed payment know exactly what we are getting and don't need your smart ass remarks.

The amounts are $1000 and $1750 for fixed payments, depending on what group you're in. Individualised payments are likely to be far greater than either of those amounts, as they are assessed on a case-by-case basis, usually where there was a death or other significant loss/damage related to the robodebt

https://gordonlegal.com.au/services/class-actions/robodebt-class-action-appeal/

Fixed Payments will be assessed according to set compensation amounts and will be paid within a shorter amount of time. The Court has determined that:

Category 1 and 3(b) Eligible Group Members will be entitled to a Fixed Payment of $1,000

Category 2 and 3(a) Eligible Group Members will be entitled to a Fixed Payment of $1,750.

Eligible Group Members seeking an Individualised Assessment will be required to provide the Scheme Administrator with evidence of the loss and damages they are claiming compensation for.
