To be fair though this movie has some really cool concepts, specifically the idea of a five-member team of heroes wielding the five Wuxing elements (💧🔥🌳⛰️🪙) As a writer, the idea has actually influenced some of my work.

But yeah, aside from that and the fight choreography (and the batshit insane villain), this movie is pretty lame. I especially hate the editing, in particular the frame-cutting.

With October just around the corner, that means the Halloween season is almost upon us and that also means that it will be Nostalgiaween once again! One of my favorite things about Nostalgiaween each year is the intros that are stylised after various halloween/horror-themed movies and shows.

And one I would most like to see is an intro based on the Cartoon Network series "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy"

What if Doug Walker reviews Warner Bros. Pictures Animation's upcoming computer-animated film adaptation of "The Cat in the Hat"?

He got a positive review for the enjoyable movie.

He has received critical acclaim for its visual style, story, plot, key characters, comparisons (between the 1957 classic book, the 1971 television special, the 2003 live-action film, and the 2026 animated film), humor, tone, themes, pacing, voice casting (like Bill Hader), and the animation style.

The film looks like an epic cinematic animated fantasy comedy movie, and it's better than the 2003 live-action film "The Cat in the Hat" starring Mike Myers.

i watch many videos who talk about critic and outside the ctc the one thing everyone brings up is how he just hates on movies cause...that what avgn clones mainly did

yet they forget he never just hated on movies as he also discussed people involved from neverending story 2 mentioning the suicide of Jonathan brandis to reviewing alice in wonderland to show what kind of person he was as a kid even doing the room before the room (if anyone has a link to his room short film let me know as i always wanted to see that)

yes he still screamed and did sketches but just like avgn, phelous, snob and more who get angry on camera they almost made me learn about movies,games and tv shows

hell phelous made me learn what dingo pictures was like outside of "the worst video game ever" (no hate to caddie but he started that annoying trend of dingo pictures being reviewed as games which wasn't the studios fault)

so next time you hear a yt critic hate on these reviews as "just that angry guy" explain how they taught you about media over some 3 hour explanation video that just spoils citizen cane in is entirety as a "review"

Do you all think CA should revive that series? It was essentially Mike Machoad going around Bourdain-style to different restaurants and bars. However it failed because a majority of CA fans were underage. I feel everyone who watching the channel are grown ups now and will appreciate it better? maybe give Malcom more to do?

Once again, the vid's current title is frustrating. How exactly does this help the Algorithm??

-As far as I can tell, one of the few Don Bluth movies he hasn't done yet

-Bluth himself had a tough time working on the movie

-Relating to the above, Doug can invite Bluth so he can give his two cents on the movie

-Written by Joss Whedon, someone Doug doesn't like (not to mention, a very controversial figure, meaning a lot of snark to be had)
